A Little Bit About Bridlington, United Kingdom
Bridlington is on the East Yorkshire Coast. It has fantastic beaches, some of which are dog friendly. There is something to suit everyone in Bridlington and along the coast, you can build sandcastles, tuck into fish and chips, go fossil hunting with the kids, and watch the boats go by on glorious Beaches, secret coves and bustling harbour.
There is newly-built Leisure Centre on Bridlington's seafront which houses a large fitness suite, health suite, 6 court sports centre, squash courts, swimming pool, leisure pool and a climbing wall. Sewerby Hall & Gardens, Bondville model village, John Bull world of rock, Hornsea Folk Museum and Withernsea Lighthouse Museum are all a short ride away and well worth a visit. Sewerby Hall and Gardens are a must visit with its walled gardens, woodland walks, the hall itself, zoo, cafe, children's play area and the spectacular view from the cliff top.
The scenery at Flamborough and Bempton, with their white chalk cliffs and seabird colonies, is very dramatic, then gradually becomes gentler as you approach Spurn Head, passing through Barmston, Ulrome, Skipsea, Hornsea and Withernsea.
