After a leisurely walk along the beach, headland or downs overlooking the Atlantic at Bude, return to a warm cottage, draw the curtains and curl up with a glass of wine, in front of the fire watching a video from the library, TV or reading a good book, or on those long summer evenings for a glass of wine, savouring the delicious aroma of your dinner cooking on the BBQ.
Enjoy Christmas /New Year a special time of the year relaxing with a glass of mulled wine while the Christmas Tree lights twinkle with all your presents beautifully wrapped beneath! Just Perfect!
Megan's Lodge is a detached Lodge in the grounds of my home to the right just through remotely controlled gates, away from main house (remote zapper will be provided on arrival) Parking for one car. Megan's Lodge is a Non Smoking property that has been set up as a cosy home to a very high standard, yet private and with no other neighbours. Much thought has been given into making your holiday as comfortable and carefree as possible, so all you have to do is relax and enjoy all this beautiful coastal area has to offer. Megan's Lodge is a warm, double glazed and centrally heated cottage making it an ideal year round destination. If you arrive late & tired do not worry, basic starter pack is included comprising of the basics tea, coffee, milk, sugar etc. plus a few nice surprises! The open plan living has a very well equipped kitchen, a dining area and a relaxing lounge with a comfortable sofa, facing the fireplace with a remote controlled log effect fire. Remote controlled TV, DVD and C.D. Player with speakers. The cosy but very spacious bedroom is upstairs where a super king sized bed awaits, made up with lovely Egyptian cotton sheets. (can be made in up as two singles on request) The bathroom is downstairs off the Hall and has a standard size bath with shower over as well as a separate hand held shower, ideal for washing hair or for children.
Outside is a private stoned sitting area with table, chairs, umbrella and Weber charcoal BBQ, overlooking fields towards the river where you can relax with a glass of wine on those long summer evenings.
Megan's Lodge is suitable for couples of all ages looking for a relaxing retreat with all the comforts of home, after a busy day enjoying all this beautiful area has to offer.
Cot/high chair available on request for babies, No Charge, but bedding not provided for cot. A child sharing bedroom with parents incur a small charge.
25% Deposit is required to Confirm a Booking and Balance due 6 weeks prior to arrival.
Payment can be made by: Bank Transfer, Cheque or Card Card, Cash for balance on arrival may be considered.
Changeover Days: Friday & Saturday, but other days considered. Just ask!
Arrival after 3,30pm. Departure by 10.30am.
Monthly or Longer Stays may be considered and priced differently.
