'Le Rossignol' - Three bedroom stone cottage - Marais PoitevinLe Rossignol is one of four beautifully restored 18th century stone gîtes at 'Belle Vue', arranged around a central courtyard.

This cottage sleeps up to six people in three bedrooms. It has a beautiful light and airy living area with exposed stone walls and oak beams, part of the original farm buildings. Its fully fitted kitchen area has a large range of units, gas cooker, microwave oven, fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher plus electric kettle, and toaster. There is a downstairs double bedroom with en-suite washroom and toilet. The shower room is also on the ground floor. Upstairs is a second double bedroom and a large twin bedroom, both with stone walls and exposed beams.

There is British Free view TV, WiFi on site, and a DVD player.

'Belle Vue' has a large sun terrace with a 12x5m heated swimming pool and an 8 person jacuzzi, fully fenced for your safety. The garden has plenty of space to relax and play, plus we have a large selection of bikes for your free use.
Vendée is renowned for its cycle tracks and there are several close by. There is also a canal 100 metres away ideal for fishing.

The gîte has an official 3* rating from the French Tourist Office.

Perfect escape

From the moment we arrived the hosts were super helpful, generous and welcoming. I was nervous being away from the beach but the pool, bbq and badminton made up for it. Hopefully we’ll be able to visit again soon. And by then then fingers crossed local restaurant will have opened its doors again. In the mean time ask about the seafood restaurant in the boat yard.... but don’t tell anyone else Thank you for a brilliant stay.
