Description
The Retreat is a spacious and characterful farmhouse set within the grounds of an award-winning vineyard. With over 1,400 sq ft of living space across two floors, it offers stunning views across the valley and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.You enter through a utility room into a large, fully equipped kitchen featuring a fridge, freezer, oven, breakfast bar, dining table, log burner, and TV. The kitchen leads into the central hall, off which sit the living room, second bedroom, and a family bathroom with both bath and separate shower. The light-filled living room has generous windows framing the surrounding views and includes a second log burner and TV for cosy evenings.
Upstairs is the master bedroom with super king-size bed and en-suite (bath and separate shower). The second bedroom is a comfortable double with a bathroom located just next door.
Outside, a private drive leads to a covered car port and enclosed garden—ideal for dogs—as well as a large front lawn with outdoor seating, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the view.

Longer stays of 7 nights or more are discounted by 20%
Under 18s: Babies up to 12 months and children over the age of 11 are allowed to stay in The Retreat – please note that no baby equipment is provided.
Cleaning fee: A cleaning fee of £100 will be added to each booking (included in the price paid when booking below)
Cancellation policy: Full refund if cancelled more than 2 months before check-in. 50% refund if cancelled more than 1 month but less than 2 months before check-in. No refund if cancelled less than 1 month prior to check-in.

Wonderful Stay!

By Karen on 07-Jul-2026Great experience from when I booked and all comms with Hannah to when we arrived. Amazing environment to stay and socialise. Beautiful views. Close to the wine tasting venue. Hotel highlightsLuxury · Great view · Quiet · High-tech Rooms2 spacious king size. Great views in master bedroom but downstairs was equally good with access to the back garden. Nearby activities- Wine tour was so much fun, informative and well organised. Great wines. Safety- Remote location but well secure. Walkability - Great for access to the vineyard and tours. Need a car or taxis to nearby towns and pubs unless plenty of time and someone who is fit to walk. Food and drinks - Great starter / welcome items. Full access to a sample selection of chilled wines with an honesty box to sample all their vineyard wines. Noteworthy details - Very comfortable and well equipped venue - worth a stay. Will be back.

Beautiful accommodation
By Katie Scott on 14-Oct-2025A wonderful few days away, if the weather had been better we could have been in the South of France. Vineyards make for a lovely walk with the pups and our newborn. Beautiful accommodation with hospitable team to answer all questions in advance. We'll surely be back.
