The Hay Barn offers accommodations in Stainton, just 3.5 miles from stokesley market town ,with an abundance of restaurants and pubs , 2 miles from stokesley is the lovely village of great ayton ideal for following the james cook trail as he lived there as a boy ,the famous land mark roseberry topping is just a short drive if you fancy trail walks , if a coastal walk is preffered you can pick up the cleveland way within the beautiful coastal victorian town of saltburn by the sea just a 20 min drive with its famous water tram and peer ,we also have walks close to our farm without driving , a cafe close by within walking distance for your full english ! also 2 pubs are within a mile if you fancy a hard earned drink ,the haybarn is a lovely quiet location if you want to be surrounded by lovely wildlife pheasants, owls ,kestrels will be seen on a daily basis ,accompanied by lovely sunsets, if you like the star gazing with no light pollution a telescope is a must ....we also have a lovely 3 bedroomed barn conversion sunset view if you have a larger family gathering ....
