Description
This contemporary styled spacious two-bedroom log cabin comfortably sleeps 4, offering the ideal accommodation for smaller families or couples.Daisybank is a comfortable and spacious single-story cabin, with an open plan kitchen, dining and living area, with stunning views of the ever-changing Peak District landscape.
The double doors open onto the decking so you can enjoy a BBQ and eating alfresco.
With two generous sized bedrooms the cabin is ideal for smaller families or couples. Beds are zip and link and can either be made up as superking doubles or singles. Great for a group of friends or those bringing carers.
Relax and soak in the luxurious whirlpool bath or enjoy a refreshing shower in the accessible wet room. Should you need them there is a wide range of extra accessible equipment included free of charge, from electric profile beds to shower chairs, rise and recline armchairs and zimmer frames.
Our rural location with dark skies means you’ll love relaxing in the steamy hot tub under the stars after a day out exploring the Peak District countryside.

Short breaks are available either 3 nights at the weekend from Friday to Monday or 4 nights midweek from Monday to Friday.

Great for those with disabilities
By JayGage on 01-Jun-2022As a wheelchair user, Its very difficult to find holiday accommodation for disabled people. Many trumpet that they have disabled access, for example, when in fact they have a ramp fitted to normal sized doors, and a disabled loo filled with high chairs and spare tables ! Not so at Hoe Grange ! Felicity and David are great hosts, around, without being overbearing, and really friendly. We stayed in Daisybank, which boasts the best disabled facilities I’ve experienced. We had a wetroom, which had a hand basin you can raise or lower, lots of rails, and previously. requested, a raise and lower lounge chair, shower stool and raised toilet seat. Nothing was too much for then, I usually feel bit awkward requesting some of the extras, but not an issue here. The bed was a profiling bed, the kitchen sink able to be lowered should the urge to wash up strike lol, and the views - well the views were to die for. We were perfectly placed, as animal lovers, we woke in the morning to horses and sheep peering in the windows at us ! Wonderful experience, we would most definitely recommend this place to you
Truly accessible accommodation
By Lynda B on 01-Apr-2026We are just back from a great few days at Hoe Grange. One of our party is a wheelchair user and the lodge (Daisybank) couldn’t have been any better equipped for us. We knew he could get around safely indoors which meant I as a wife and carer could enjoy the hot tub and relax. It is the first time in 4 years we have found truly accessible accommodation. After trying a couple of nights in a hotel previously we realised that no longer suits us. The profile bed and rise recliner chair made a big difference to us as did the wet room. The countryside is stunning and we went along the High Peak trail which again is accessible. There is plenty to do in the area should you want to explore. The information provided about the accessible places in the area was really useful and meant we didn’t have to spend hours researching suitable places to eat. The lodge was so peaceful and we enjoyed feeding the goats and stopping on the drive as it was blocked by the little lambs - so cute. We had a lovely welcome pack on arrival and the owners and all the staff were really friendly and always happy to help or stop and chat. After being back home for two days we have booked again for June which says it all really. Thank you for a lovely stay and for thinking of everything
Perfect horsey getaway
By Summer W on 01-Jun-0026A group of 4 of us took 4 horses to Hoe Grange for a long weekend and it was amazing as always. Wonderful views, clean and spacious lodges and surrounded by countryside views in every direction. Very quiet and peaceful to watch our horses graze from the decking of Daisybank Lodge. I've been twice and both times was perfect. The owner was even nice enough to take time out of her day to take us on a new hacking route and take pictures of us and our horses along the way. Huge stables and lots of good quality hay and straw for the horses including turnout in a nice, secure field. If you want a holiday with your horse, this place is for you!
Top marks for Hoe Grange!

The hosts provided a warm welcome, with fresh bread and cookies waiting in the kitchen. The accommodation had good-sized rooms and a child-friendly setup, including a small playground nearby and open space for the children to play. The kitchen was well stocked, including a steamer and slow cooker, and there was fresh milk and butter in the fridge. The private hot tub was a real treat and wasn’t visible/overlooked from other properties. Feeding the horses, goats and chickens was a highlight for our younger child, who loves animals. We mainly went hiking and found the location an excellent base for exploring the Peak District—easy to get around and very relaxing. We can’t think of anything to improve; we’d definitely recommend Hoe Grange and would book again.
Disabled friendly log cabin in beautiful surroundings
By Sue C on 20-May-2025We needed a two bedroom two bathroom log cabin for myself and my wheelchair bound husband and a second bedroom for my daughter and partner. What we found blew our breath away! Daisy Bank log cabin met all our criteria and more. There was a gift pack with gorgeous bread and butter, biscuits, tea perk coffee and eggs. There was a hot tub with a hoist, you just needed your own sling. There was views were amazing and all the staff bent over backwards to please us.
