Fab accommodation meeting expectations

By Vikash Bhatt on 22-Aug-2020

The owner lives next door and was easy to communicate with before and during our stay. Lovely bright airy accommodation and excellent secure back garden which children and dogs loved. Easy to travel to all places on our schedule of places to visit. We intend to come back and would recommend.

Date of arrival - 15 August 2020

Ideal for dogs and children

By Mandy S. on 31-Aug-2019

They are beautiful properties perfect for our family in an ideal setting. The owner is very friendly and on hand if you need her but not intrusive would highly recommend these properties. The dogs and children can run freely amongst the enormous garden and the houses were immaculate .

We enjoyed a wonderful family holiday at Beehive holiday house.

By Mary P. on 23-Aug-2018

We found the Beehive light, spacious and beautifully decorated. It was clean and had amazing views. Linda and her husband were great hosts and made us and the children feel at home. We enjoyed eating dinner on the patio and boys loved playing football and cricket in the grounds. It was easy access to lovely beaches and interesting towns to visit. Lots of great pasties and Cornish ice-creams not too far away. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Stylish, spacious holiday home surrounded by idyllic landscapes. Great location and loads to do with young children (3-11) as well as grandparents. Linda and family are lovely and catered to our every need. Will definitely be coming back soon!

Very attractive place to stay

By Judith D. on 07-Aug-2016

We have just stayed in the Beehive for 2 weeks. The accommodation is bright and airy, with great views. The ground floor is open plan so we were kept on our toes, at times, by our 1 year old grandson. The travel cot and highchair were very useful. The kitchen is very well equipped - I managed to make and decorate 130 cupcakes for our son's wedding during the first week!
It is an ideal base for visiting many of the attractions in Cornwall. We really enjoyed Cothele house and quay, National Trust properties that are close by (without grandson!).
Linda and family are very friendly and welcoming.
I would recommend this property to family and friends visiting the area.

Light & airy property with lots of space

By John F. on 31-Aug-2015

I’ve just come back from spending five lovely days in The Beehive with my family (wife and two young children). I have to say that the property is really great and finished to a good standard. It was nice to have an open and airy space to retreat to when the cornish weather wasn’t playing ball. There’s plenty of space for the children, both inside and out. The location is good if you are planning to explore East Cornwall and West Devon. We visited the National Aquarium in Plymouth, ventured north to Padstow & Tevone Bay Beach, west to the Eden Project and explored along the south coast around Looe & Fowey. I suppose it goes without saying that a car is essential. I have no hesitation in recommending this property.
