Our family (two adults, one boy and one girl) really enjoyed our stay at Echium Heights. The house is filled with natural light and all the rooms are a good size and well furnished, the kitchen is well equipped and there are plenty of bathrooms and a downstairs toilet too so no disappointment inside. You won''t be disappointed outside either as the outside space is very private and there are views across the valley from both the front and rear garden. The front terrace is a sun trap all afternoon until sunset and the rear (upper) terrace is good for a sunny al fresco breakfast. It is worth noting that the (on street) parking at the house is a bit hit and miss but, for us, it was always possible to find a parking space. There is a short walk up a path with an incline to get to the house but it is worth the effort. A nice touch was that, on arrival, there was a lovely selection of food and essentials for us to use. This was perfect for us as our supermarket delivery was an hour or so after we''d arrived. In summary, the house is a very relaxing home away from home and we''d definitely recommend a stay here.
accommodation for our family of 6 adults and a 4 and 1+ year old. Plenty of room to spread out and the outdoor area at the front was ideal for the children to play in. The welcome pack was a very kind gesture and provided us with essentials on arrival. The house was equipped with everything you would require on holiday. The access to the property was via a narrow, uneven, uphill path, which could cause problems for anyone with walking difficulties. Fortunately, we had good weather, so as a base, the property was ideal for exploring North Devon. Vrbo
