Description
Welcome to The Old Rectory at St Keyne In South Cornwall.
Our cottage, The Coach House is a single storey detached old stone building around 270 years old and belongs to and is set in the grounds of the Old Rectory of St. Keyne which dates back to around 1750. It is located in a quiet and tranquil location away from the main road, away from any neighbours (apart from us!) with stunning views over the valley. Please note, the pin location on the map is not accurate. We are approx 5 miles north of Looe and around 8 minutes by car or bus. It is displayed here as otherwise it doesn't appear in any search results on the site!
The Coach House was originally built to house the horse(s) and carriage for the Vicar of our local church and was converted into accommodation in 1995. In 2011 we went about giving the cottage a needed second transformation and took the opportunity to upgrade the property to include a new luxury kitchen, wet room, flooring and total redecoration throughout. The accommodation comprises of a lounge area, kitchen/diner, luxury wet room with a luxury rain shower and a light and airy double bedroom.
Detached, and situated far enough away from any other buildings, the Coach House offers peace and tranquillity. A private patio can be used to enjoy the lovely views across the valley and makes it the perfect place to relax with a glass of wine.
The Coach House has dedicated parking, however, there is ample parking in the grounds of the Rectory which our guests are very welcome to make use of.
Along with the luxury kitchen and wet room, the cottage has Wi-Fi with high speed Fibre Broadband (around 25mb), an internet high definition TV with catch up TV a blu ray player, radio, CD player with ipod docking station.
