The village of Lynton is a short stroll away and offers a variety of quaint independent shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants as well as the famous Lynton & Lynmouth Cliff Railway, the world's highest and steepest fully water powered railway which links the two towns together. Lynton is also the smallest town in the UK to have a full-time cinema, seating 68 people at a time.
Access to the South West Coast Path is within walking distance. Saunton Sands, Woolacombe and Croyde all offer large clean, sandy beaches, perfect for family summer days and can be reached by car in under 45 minutes. For families there is a wide range of National Trust walks and attractions, plenty of riding stables, Exmoor Zoo, Watermouth Theme Park, Lynton & Barnstaple steam railway and Combe Martin wildlife park within a short drive.

The accommodation has been recently updated and includes a large king size room with stylish fully tiled shower room and access to small balcony area, a perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee with an amazing sea view. The second bedroom is a twin, which can be converted to a Superking on request and is serviced by the main bathroom. The well equipped kitchen/dining area offers table seating for 4, plus another (Juliet) balcony and has everything you need to enjoy your well-earned break. The main living area is on the top floor, with comfy seating, Smart TV, and toys/books. Both bedrooms and the living room enjoy uninterrupted coastal views

This first and second floor apartment is one of a small complex of spacious and elegant apartments which were originally a Grade II Listed gentleman’s residence and most recently a country hotel. Sleeping four people, Penthouse Channel View is tucked into the hillside where Exmoor meets the sea, its unique position offering the most spectacular views out over Lynmouth Bay to the high cliffs of Countisbury and the wooded valleys of the East and West Lyn.

North Devon is perfect for hiking trips (the rugged North Devon coast path is incredible and there are tonnes of isolated spots), plus there are plenty of romantic hideaways and with a wide range of kid-friendly attractions, there's plenty for them to do as well.

Lynton & Lynmouth are located on the North Devon coast, on the A39, between the towns of Minehead and Barnstaple.

From the M5 via J23 & A39 – Journey time: 1 hour 20 mins
From Bridgwater, take the A39 and follow the coastal route to Lynmouth.

From the M5 via J27 & A361 North Devon Link Road – Journey time: 1 hour 5 mins
From Tiverton, follow the A361 to the junction with the A399 at South Molton. Take the A399 to Blackmoor Gate and turn right onto the A39. Continue to Barbrook and take the left hand turn opposite the petrol station.
Turn right at the Valley of the Rocks Hotel and the Seaview Apartments are 100 metres down the hill, on the first driveway on the right hand side. Ample parking is available on site.

For stays of 4 nights or less a cleaning charge applies.
20% deposit to secure the booking and the balance payment to be paid 60 days before arrival.
