By Julia on 31-Mar-2026March 2026 Deborah gave clear instructions on how to find the barn. On arrival we were greeted by Ken who was very helpful and showed us around. The barn was very clean and beautifully presented. It had everything we needed for a great weekend. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Russell's Review
By Russell on 31-Aug-2025We spent a week at Deborah's lodge and it exceeded expectations. Greeted by Deborah's husband, he gave us the full tour along with a very generous welcome basket. The lodge was very clean and spacious for the 6 of us with 2 bathrooms and showers which was great so there was no line for the bathrooms in the morning. The kitchen was great for self catering with everything we needed. The outdoor areas were great sun traps and ideal for a BBQ and a nice little corner to watch the sun set was great. The area is very quiet and peaceful yet only a 5 minute drive to Penrith and on a good run 25 minute to Keswick so you have everything you need within easy reach. Pooly Bridge and Ullswater was very close by, an area we hadn't been too before. Lots to see within cycle distance too including Haweswater. Would highly recommend and we will be back. Thanks gain for a lovely stay.

Wonderful hosts, left us a welcome pack; they were willing to go out of their way to help when we had an issue with accessing the property, gave great recommendations on what to do. Highly recommended and will stay again. Thank you Deborah and Ken!
