We have been open nearly 15 years and some of our returners have been coming just as long. Our ethos has been to keep it affordable, clean and convenient.
LOCATION it's perfect, being 5 mins from beach and town (shops, garage, restaurants, gardens). It's just 6 miles from the A30 dual carriageway. Being centrally located on the north coast (between Newquay & St Ives), all the major attractions like Eden are not too far away, but you will soon find out that you dont need to go anywhere else because our huge surf beach means you can always find space, or walk on our dunes or spectacular cliffs or inland up our pretty coombes. The Bolingey Inn, an historic thatched pub/restaurant (home cooking), is just a 10 min off road walk. There is a good choice of restaurants from The Green Parrot (wetherspoons), the Watering Hole (aussie Beach bar), ethnic and eco. Large Co-op, and other shops. Petrol station with logs. Our award winning gardens are well cared for - boating lake & recreational area, and soon to be skate park. Truro City is 10miles south.
PETS Well behaved dogs are welcome. They can roam the beach off lead all year except july and august when they have to be on a lead but only if on the main beach between 10 & 5. The house has rear and front enclosed gardens, and there are off road walks close by.
ACCOMMODATION;
The ground floor is open plan, so bright and airy. There are white leather sofas for 8 in the living room end, and Dining area also seats 8 (plus high chair, buggy and potty). There is a conventional tv, with dvd player and dvds. Bring your firestick! The internet is there at around 15Mbps. There is a log burner ( logs not provided in summer). Kitchen area is compact but everything you need is there including a microwave. No freezer or dishwasher. Also on this floor is the utility room with washing m/c and dryer. Electric walk in shower +wc.
On the first floor is a double bedroom at the front with a bay window with beach views, portable tv. The 2nd double has views over the dunes and golf course. Small bedroom with 2 bunks. Family bathroom.
Access to the attic playroom is by a ship's style ladder, 2 singles (can be joined as a double). Roof windows either side, trap door.
There is a £1 coin meter you should allow £3/day. We have this because guests often leave the immersion on ( it can be for weeks). Wet suits body boards and wind breaks are there for you to use.
OUTSIDE Off street parking for 2 cars, one in front, the 2nd across it on the verge ( see photos). In the front garden (not overlooked) is a table, bench and chairs, behind the blue fence ( your children and pets cant wander onto the road). This area faces the sun all afternoon and you can watch the sunset over chapel rock. In the back garden is a small terrace which faces the sun till lunchtime for breakfast or coffee. Its not huge but enough room for your dog. There is a portable barbecue.
To conclude please note that to keep costs down (similar houses here can cost nearly double) , we have made use of inherited furniture and kitchenware. If matching crockery is essential please bring your own :))

A great place to stay in so many ways

Myself and my family started renting the house over 5 years ago and have returned every year since. The house is not only in a fantastic location, close to the beautiful beach of Perranporth and all the local shops but also has a wonderful view of the beach from the bedroom window) there is no better way to wake up. The house has all the essentials required for an enjoyable stay. The owners of the property are only ever a phone call away with any queries and are such a lovely couple that it has become like staying at a relatives house. I now class them as friends.
