Three storey terraced cottage ideally situated in the centre of St Ives with large playroom and the latest super-fast broadband. Within easy walking distance of four sandy beaches; very close to shops, restaurants, cinema and The Tate Gallery. Comfortably sleeps 6 people in 3 bedrooms. This is a very homely house, perfect for families.
On the ground floor there is a living room, kitchen/diner and bathroom with thermostatic shower over the bath. The kitchen diner sits 6 people around a pine table - great for family meals. There is a large playroom in the basement with books, games and table football. We also have a vintage 1964 pinball table in good condition that is free to play (as it is so old we can't guarantee that it will definitely be working at all times!). Small rear courtyard with hooks for drying wetsuits. Storage for surfboards, bikes etc in small outhouse.
Upstairs there is one double bedroom, one twin bedroom and one twin bunk room.
Free super-fast wifi throughout the house. Bed linen, bath towels, gas and electricity are also included. Our housekeepers will make the beds ready for you prior to your arrival.
Unlike many parts of St Ives you can stop right outside of the house to unload. Parking is a 5 minute walk away in one of the large town car parks offering 1, 3 or 7 day tickets. All the car parks are within easy walking distance and the shuttle bus stop for the main car park is just round the corner from the house (2 mins). Please be aware that the bathroom is on the ground floor. Also, the stairs are steep. There are no stairgates in the house but we can arrange hire of these for you, just let us know if you require them. We can also provide a high chair and a travel cot if needed, again please let us know and we will provide a quote for rental.

A perfectly located place to stay, in a quiet but central road. The common areas are roomy and the cottage benefits from plenty of light. The beds were comfortable. There is everything you need in walking distance.

Jon’s place was perfect for our family. Very central, near all the shops and sea front and a wonderful home. The house has everything you could need for a great holiday and I would absolutely recommend Jon’s place to others.

We have had a wonderful stay in St Ives. The house was perfect for our family. Clean and cosy with everything we needed. We especially loved the games room to amuse the children! The house is situated in a quiet residential street while being a stones throw away from beautiful beaches, shops and museums. It was fantastic to not need to use the car all weekend as everywhere we wanted to go was walkable. Thank you Jon!
A real gem in a perfect location.

Just returned from a fantastic weeks stay, this house is a real gem and it spotlessly clean and well looked after. Perfect location for absolutely everything you'll need in St Ives and we really felt at home and had everything we needed. As it was our first visit Jon was extremely helpful with local information and advice regarding parking which was very easy. I really don't think we could have found a better place and loved every minute of our stay. Would definitely recommend breakfast at Porthminster kitchen, drinks at the crab shack (happy hour 3-5), a visit to the farmers market (thursday) amoungst many things a short stroll away. Can't wait to return, thanks Jon. Sara & Andy
Perfect location, great house.

We had a really wonderful stay at Jon's beautiful house. Perfect location, great house with plenty of room and even some beach stuff in the outbuilding for my little girl to take to the beach! Jon also sent us some recommendations in advance, which we followed and loved. No problems at all and can't wait to visit again.
Ideally suited to two families.

Had an excellent long weekend in St Ives staying at Jon's cottage. House was in superb condition and ideally suited for the needs of two families, one with a small child. House is in an ideal location and Jon's guide made the stay even more rewarding. Would recommend to anyone visiting St Ives.

Treasure trove of a basement.
By Ross on 29-Sep-2015
This house is perfectly situated in the centre of St Ives and is a short walk to all the shops, galleries, restaurants and beaches. Jon provided a great deal of information about places to eat and drink and the house was a great base for a memorable holiday. There is plenty of space to sit round the kitchen table for dinner or just over a glass of wine, a cosy lounge and the treasure trove of a basement where the pinball machine and table football proved a great source of entertainment. There was a good selection of beach equipment in the back room which we used on the beach with our son who didnt want to go home. This is a little gem in a beautiful location and we are already planning our next trip
