Description
Wyvern house is a large, modern, spacious and contemporary house located within a quiet and peaceful area in the town of Bude, Cornwall. 2 of Cornwall's finest sandy beaches are just 5-10 mins walk from the house and the towns amenities are also within a few mins walk. Key Features: Sleeps up to 18 persons, 8 bedrooms, 6 shower/bathrooms (3 En-suite), off-road parking for up to 7 cars, Free Superfast WiFi, Hot Tub for up to 5 persons at a time, Sauna for up to 8 persons at a time. Childrens Play Room complete with Pool table, Arcade Video games console with over 800 games, 42" TV ideal for games consoles such as Playstation and XBox (not provided), Free use of 8ft beginner surfboards and Bodyboards. To the rear of the house there are private (secured) large garden area's and a large level decked area, all of which are south facing with large level decked area incorporating outdoor tables and chairs for fantastic sun trap BBQ's. Incorporated in the garden area is a Hot Tub and Sauna which are included in your stay. To confirm a booking we request a 10% non refundable deposit with the balance payable 4 weeks before your first nights stay. We also request a £150.00 security deposit which is payable along with the final balance and this is returned via bank transfer 24hrs after departure after a full inspection has been made. Pets are more than welcome and we accept up to 3 dogs per group as a maximum.Bedroom Details

Great place to stay
By Maria on 18-Jul-2026Communication from owner Darron waa 5 star! A great experience from the point of booking to check out. A lovely property as seen on photos. We had a four generation stay here including elderly parents, adult children and teenage grandson. Cleanliness was top notch. Ample parking for all our vehicles. The rooms were all lovely and the kitchen well stocked with two ovens and dishwasher. The hot tub was enjoyed by all and the large patio wonderful for alfresco dining with large sun parasol. Plenty in the garden area for young children if you have them. Petrol station 3 min walk which sells basics and Costa Express. 10 min walk to canal and around the same to walk to the shops. You can walk to the beaches but may want to use the car if you have lots of kit. Lovely quiet location with no noise. Would highly recommend. Two double bedrooms on ground floor and one with twin beds. The rest are upstairs. Suitable for disabled access.

The teenagers - aged 16 enjoyed the sun deck , hot tub and Sauna as did the parents - and the hours of chatting , and watching the lionesses reach the Euro2025 finals! And we all enjoyed the beach(es) and exploring Bude

An amazing house with the perfect host.
By Gemma on 03-Aug-2024From the moment we arrived Darron was the perfect host. Showing us around the house. Wyvern House is fully equipped with everything you could need for your stay. There is plenty for the children to play with inside and outside. All rooms are decorated to a high standard and there was plenty of room within the house. There was 17 of us staying and we all had our own rooms. Each bedroom has an En Suite or bathroom. The garden has swings, playhouse and a trampoline for the children to play with and you can comfortably sit around the table on the decking and be able to see them. Downstairs there is a games room with pool table and games machine. There is also a comfortable living room with sofas and large smart TV. We couldn't fault our stay and will definitely re book if we stay in Bude in the future.
