Description
Chy ryb Connerton, a detached bungalow annexe situated just outside Hayle with amazing rural views towards St. Ives, accommodates up to 3 people in 2 bedrooms. Regrettably the annexe is not suitable for children under 9.It is under a 10 minute drive to the huge beach at Gwithian Towans and only 5 minutes to Hayle itself with it's shops, restaurants and facilities Tucked away but within easy distance of the main routes, we are in an excellent location to visit St Ives, Penzance, Mousehole, and both the superb north and south coasts are easy to reach
From the door it is just a 6 minute walk to the local shop and petrol station.
At Chy ryb Connerton one bedroom has a very comfy king size bed, and the second an equally cosy single bed.
Fast free wifi, Smart tv and blu-ray dvd player.
The annexe has an enclosed garden with seating on a terrace which is accessible through patio doors. Relax here and you may be rewarded with a grandstand view of the often stunning sunsets.
Please note that the fridge in the annexe is an undercounter larder type, therefore it does not have a freezer compartment, and that there is no freezer in the, otherwise well equipped, kitchen area.
Guests with Dogs
Up to 2 dogs are welcome for £20 per stay (regrettably no entire male dogs) - Further dogs by arrangement. You can of course have cuddles with your dog on the sofa and chairs, using the dog throws provided. Though, out of respect for our other guests who do not have pets, we can NOT ALLOW DOGS IN THE BEDROOMS (stairgates are provided so that you can keep your bedroom doors open if required) and dogs MUST NOT be left in the annexe or garden alone at any time..
Although the garden is fenced it is not suitable for dogs prone to escaping.
Please note we can not accept any other types of pets in the annexe.
Normally there is a minimum stay 3 nights out of season, but please ask and we will try and meet your needs as best as we can.
Changeover day is usually Saturday for 7 night bookings, but we can discuss and amend this..
Off road parking is available next to the annexe entrance

The annexe had everything we needed and more
By Stephen & Niki on 04-Mar-2026Firstly we would like to say how grateful we are to Rob and Rhoda for the welcome they gave us when we arrived at their accommodation. Rob showed us around the annexe explaining how things worked which was very helpful indeed. Their annexe was perfect for our 4 night stay with our 2 labs down a very quiet lane. The annexe had everything we needed and more, a fully stocked kitchen, a comfy sofa, king sized bed and a great shower (big positive!), with good shops only a few minutes drive away. This property has the best contained garden we have been to so it was great for our dogs to wander around. We stayed in Feb-March and the heating was well up for keeping us warm and cosy. After a long day on Hayle beach, which is only a short drive away, when we got back sat on the sofa we could see the sand dunes we had been walking in and St Ives in the distance, what a great spot :o) If you are considering staying in this part of Cornwall please consider staying here :o)

Nice welcome pack of milk, teabags etc. Easy to travel to tourist destinations such as St. Ives, St. Michael's Mount & The Lizard.
