About Trevarthian House: Trevarthian House is a large detached grade 2 listed building of architectural and historic interest. Situated in its own grounds, with beautiful views of St. Michael’s Mount and Mount’s Bay, the house lies within fifty yards of the sandy beach.
Built by a Tin Smelter and Merchant by the name of Gilbert Pearce in the Victorian era, Trevarthian House was one of the largest residences in Marazion’s history. Its architectural style, palm trees, gardens and beachside location offer a colonial feel and the stained glass window and mosaic floor of the entrance hall hint at grandeurs of the past.
The grounds of Trevarthian House offer a tranquil holiday setting in which to relax. The location allows guests to be opposite the beach and St. Michael’s Mount while within four hundred yards of the centre of Marazion. The private driveway joins the main road through Marazion making Trevarthian Holiday Homes easy to find and a convenient starting point for visiting the surrounding area.
Penzance, St Ives and Land End are a short car or bus journey away. The apartments are all self-contained and refurbished to a very high standard. There is an office, free laundry and large private car park on site. There is also a bus stop 50 yards away.

By Ian Kirby on 10-Aug-2025We absolutely LOVE Trevarthian !! We have had so many holidays here that we've lost count. The gorgeous building sits amongst its own grounds with more than ample parking...probably the best parking in Marazion. The rooms we have stayed in are large and airy with period high ceilings and features, yet with all modern conveniences. There is also a laundry room on site which we think is super as you don't have to put up with the noise of a washer within your flat. All 12 flats are clean and well maintained. As for value for money, Sean's prices are very reasonable and fair. One of the many bonuses about staying at Trevarthian is how close it is to the beach & village, not to mention the superb view of The Mount. Another plus about being so close to the beach is that if it starts to rain, you can just nip back again! There are 3 major supermarkets a short drive away and lots of places to eat & drink. Sean the owner, is always available, professional, super helpful and very friendly. Before we leave, we always book at least one more holiday with him. It really is the only place to stay. We love it :)

By Rob Flory on 15-Aug-2025Stayed numerous times. Absolutely amazing place to stay! Well priced, clean and a two minute walk from the beach with easy access to St Michael’s Mount. Accommodation to suit various party sizes and the owner is super helpful and friendly.
You won't be disappointed!
By Jerry pearce on 22-Jul-2025We stay here most years, sometimes twice, as it's so relaxing! Its comfortable, private and a couple of minutes walk to the beach. Car park is spacious, accommodation is generous as are the facilities. Marazion is a lovely village with three decent pubs and two restaurants, pasty shop, a store and art galleries a jeweller and a museum. There are bus stops on either side of the road at the end of the drive, buses are frequent to Penzance and Falmouth with connections to most towns on both coasts. The owner, Sean is a great host and a good communicator, who is very knowledgeable being a local family man. The prices are very reasonable and far less than similar accommodation in the area. Come and see for yourself, you won't be disappointed!

Would highly recommend
By Angela Flory on 20-Jul-2025We have been staying at Trevarthian twice, and sometimes three times, every year for the last 15 years. In that time we have stayed at most of the flats and all are immaculately clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend.
We love it here
By Katie Millward (Hayes) on 19-Jul-2025We stay here every year, 2 adults 2 children both under 8. It’s great, lovely accommodation. Always spotless and clean. Everything you need for a week in Cornwall. Walking distance to Michael’s Mount, park for the kids and beach. We love it here. Sean who owns it is lovely and always on hand if you need anything.
