Description
This first floor apartment has views overlooking the courtyard and towards Mounts Bay and features its own exclusive private garden. The accommodation is accessed via outside steps (with handrail) that bring you up to the garden level. From here the garden and apartment are all on one level making it very suited to families. The garden is gated for privacy and has an outside table with chairs.Internally the apartment has a ‘cottage feel’ with the old beams of what was once the stable loft still in place. The Lounge, dining area and kitchen is all open-plan and has a 32″ flat-screen digital television and DVD player. The kitchen has an oven with hobs, a microwave and a fridge with freezer compartment.
The first bedroom has a double-bed while the second bedroom has bunk beds. The bathroom has just been refurbished for 2022 and has an electric shower.
The usual changeover day for Flat 11 Trevarthian House is Friday. We have other apartments where the changeover day is Saturday if that is preferable. We generally look to book the accommodation on a weekly basis in the peak-season of May-September and during school holidays. For short-breaks or part-week bookings please email/call us for a quote.

The apartment is heated by central heating radiators and there is also an additional electric fire in the lounge.

About Trevarthian House: Trevarthian House is a large detached grade 2 listed building of architectural and historic interest. Situated in its own grounds, with beautiful views of St. Michael’s Mount and Mount’s Bay, the house lies within fifty yards of the sandy beach.
Built by a Tin Smelter and Merchant by the name of Gilbert Pearce in the Victorian era, Trevarthian House was one of the largest residences in Marazion’s history. Its architectural style, palm trees, gardens and beachside location offer a colonial feel and the stained glass window and mosaic floor of the entrance hall hint at grandeurs of the past.
The grounds of Trevarthian House offer a tranquil holiday setting in which to relax. The location allows guests to be opposite the beach and St. Michael’s Mount while within four hundred yards of the centre of Marazion. The private driveway joins the main road through Marazion making Trevarthian Holiday Homes easy to find and a convenient starting point for visiting the surrounding area.
Penzance, St Ives and Land End are a short car or bus journey away. The apartments are all self-contained and refurbished to a very high standard. There is an office, free laundry and large private car park on site. There is also a bus stop 50 yards away.

By Val Kelly on 10-Aug-2025I've stayed at trevthenian over 15 years Everything you want flats have Everything you need in them.All set in Gougous ground Beach at the bottom of the drive beautiful little village marazion and St Michael mount St Ives 15 min drive away lands end all within easy drive I wound not go any wear else very reasonable price you want get any better plus sean a lovely guy who owns it see you next year xx val x David Manchester

By Jerry Pearce on 02-Aug-2025We stay here most years, sometimes twice, as it's so relaxing! Its comfortable, private and a couple of minutes walk to the beach. Car park is spacious, accommodation is generous as are the facilities. Marazion is a lovely village with three decent pubs and two restaurants, pasty shop, a store and art galleries a jeweller and a museum. There are bus stops on either side of the road at the end of the drive, buses are frequent to Penzance and Falmouth with connections to most towns on both coasts. The owner, Sean is a great host and a good communicator, who is very knowledgeable being a local family man. The prices are very reasonable and far less than similar accommodation in the area. Come and see for yourself, you won't be disappointed!

We have stayed in Flat 3 (our favourite with the best view of St. Michaels Mount), Flat 2, Flat 4, Flat 10 and Flat 11 and have nothing but praises for each flat. They come equipped with everything you could need for a stay down in Cornwall. Great cooking facilities, nice showers/baths in each bathroom which have recently been upgraded, comfy beds with good support, and comfy sofas to sit on and watch TV or admire the view across Marazion and Long Rock. Sean has such a great property and always prices his accommodation fairly, even in peak months I doubt you'll find a place with this much charm and history for any cheaper! Sean himself is a top bloke, we have stayed here numerous times over the years and he always ensures our room is either ready early so we can get settled in, or lets us park the car in the car park so we can walk into Marazion Village for a pasty and a pint! Only a 2 minute walk to the beach and a 5 minute walk to the pub, you can't really complain! Definitely check out Trevarthian Holiday Homes if you're planning on coming down to Cornwall, you'll feel right at home.

We have had many happy family celebrations here. All are different apartments each offering something different in a beautiful historic building in a perfect location. Apartments have everything needed and are comfortable and spacious. Gardens are lovely and well kept and many rooms have stunning views. Sean is the owner and is always on hand - super helpful with anything we need, even some our less than usual requests and we love staying here, it is our go-to place. Plus there’s parking on site! This is a real gem.
