Looking for a romantic break in Cornwall or quiet family escape? The Granary is a beautifully redecorated, modern apartment nestled on a peaceful farm just outside St Ives. With its serene countryside setting, sea views, and direct access to the South West Coastal Path, it’s perfect for couples looking to slow down and enjoy a quieter side of the Cornish coast.The space is cosy, contemporary, and immaculately clean—ideal for couples, but we also happily welcome small families. Kids will love meeting our friendly goat Murphy, and playing outdoors or using the indoor games room (shared with other cottages). There’s plenty of space to roam and explore, with safe farm surroundings that feel tucked away from it all.
You’ll find everything you need for a comfortable self-catering stay, including a well-equipped kitchen, guest laundry facilities, and thoughtful touches to welcome you. Russell, your host, is always nearby if you need anything and happy to share tips for the best local spots.

Wonderful holiday.
By Guest on 17-May-2026Wonderful place to stay with views of sea and countryside. Great walks along the coast and Tinners way and yet close to St Ives to enjoy eating out in many restaurants and pubs. Further afield Zennor is a must. We didn't bring children this time but noted they were catered for with toys and a pets corner. Also dogs welcome in some accommodation. Highly recommend.
A Wonderful Week at Travalgan

Russ and Mel are excellent hosts, Russ has a fantastic relaxing way, making all his guests feel they are like friends. The Granary has everything one needs, including a nice cream tea welcome! Perfect for a couple or family, 2 bedrooms, one with a king-size and the other, two single beds, everyone gets a good night's sleep. We spent a few days on site, the weather was that nice and the views across the farm are worth taking in. With local walks, close to the SW Coastal Path, there's plenty of choice. Just a mile out of St Ives, the Granary is ideally placed for every local amenity. The accommodation is up a slope above the laundry, which houses a collection of books, games and DVD's, theres no worries about too much sound downstairs. The Granary comes with full size fridge and freezer, microwave, oven, and more than enough cups, plates etc for a full family! A fabulous TV with freeview, and access to various TV apps, enough to keep you entertained on a wet day. One final bonus for anyone staying is a small pets farm with goats, hens and ducks, which any "kid" can't resist, and for smaller children, a play barn with plenty of toys. We'll be back very soon.

Took the dog for the first time and he was also catered for impeccably. Hopefully more again this time next year. A gem.

Easy access to The Tinners Way to get to Zennor or tother way to St Ives. The accommodation was very comfortable and relaxing and couldn't have chosen a more ideal location for our break.
