A delightful single storey cottage, beautifully presented throughout, located in a secluded setting, nestled amongst mature trees.The Forge offers a peaceful retreat for those looking for a central location to explore Cornwall.
4* Rated, with two en suite bedrooms, the Forge can sleep up to 4 people. A small but ‘oh so perfectly formed’ kitchen makes it ideal for guests who like the flexibility that self catering offers.
The bed in the master bedroom is King size, in the second bedroom however the beds can be arranged as a King Size bed or as Twin beds. Please specify your preference at the time of booking.

Another wonderful summer at The Forge
By Guest on 04-Sep-2026This is our fourth or fifth stay at one of the cottages here, and there’s a reason we keep coming back year after year. The Forge was perfect for our summer break: peaceful, private and in a lovely quiet location, while still being a great base for exploring Cornwall. For us, what really sets these cottages apart is the combination of privacy, peace and quiet, and fantastic value for money. It means we can afford to stay for a lovely long break over the summer, spend our days exploring Cornwall and simply enjoy time together as a family. We’ve made so many happy memories here with our children over the years, and this summer was no exception. It has become a very special place for our family and somewhere we always look forward to returning to.

Our home away from home in North Cornwall
By Guest on 29-Aug-2025This is our fourth or fifth year staying at Harrods Cornish Cottages, and The Forge has become the perfect base for our family of two adults and two teens to enjoy surfing the beautiful beaches of North Cornwall. The cottage has everything you could possibly need, with two generously sized bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom. The well-stocked kitchen may be compact, but it’s more than ample for preparing simple evening meals or popping something in the oven after a long day at the beach. One of our favourite features is the enclosed front garden, which is bathed in sunlight every morning — the perfect spot to savour a coffee before the day begins. It’s also fully secure, which means we don’t have to worry about our dogs sneaking off and raiding the orchard for apples! We stayed for three weeks this summer and are already planning to do the same next year. Thank you so much, Rebecca and team — we absolutely love your place and can’t wait to return!

By Guest on 08-Aug-2025A great cottage , beautifully presented spotlessly clean throughout, everything you could need, comfy beds, well appointed kitchen, the a nice welcome cream time waiting for us which was very nice The host Rebecca is great only a phone call away The location is good not far from perranporth for the beach, Healy’s Cyder Farm is virtually next door ! They offer a fabulous breakfast I can’t recommend Harrods Cornish Cottage’s enough , a perfect place to stay

The holiday home is very comfortable and makes a perfect base for exploring all that’s best about Cornwall with great road links to support getting about easily. The quality of the cottage and grounds are of a very high standard, the team are welcoming and nothing is to much trouble, I cannot recommend the forge enough and look forward to our next visit.
