A large spacious kitchen, living and dining area, with tall ceilings and oak beams creates a light and airy modern cottage, but retains a cozy and romantic feel.As a level bungalow, it is suitable for wheelchair users or guests with limited mobility.
Perfect for couples, with a massive Superking-sized bed, although the bed can also be made into twin single beds if required.
The cottage benefits from a ‘dog friendly’ fully enclosed patio.
The side patio is a sun trap, and perfect for sitting outside to eat alfresco or enjoy a glass of wine.

Very peaceful
By Guest on 13-Oct-2026We had a wonderful stay at the Stables. The location is perfect for exploring without having to drive long distances. The Stables was the perfect place to come back to, very comfortable and well set up for wheelchair use. My husband, who is the wheelchair user, loved the independence the wetroom gave him. Access to outside and the car was very easy which we really appreciated as we had good weather during our stay. We wouldn't hesitate to return.
Excellent Accessible Accommodation
By Guest on 09-Oct-2026The Stables is excellent, spotlessly clean wheelchair accessible accommodation providing plenty of space including a big wet room with a commode (if required). We needed a profile bed for my husband which was provided for us at no extra cost which is something that we struggled to find elsewhere. The owner, Rebecca, was extremely helpful sorting out the right equipment for us and responded to any queries we had very quickly. It's location is ideal with Perranporth beach only a short drive away. We really enjoyed our stay and we will definitely be coming back.

By Guest on 09-Oct-2026Excellent facilities for the less able, a couple of things could improve the experience, a nest of tables in the lounge for use at the side of the sofa etc and a cart of some sort in the wet room for all our toiletries. Also the washing machine instructions do not quite fit the model provided.
Excellent stay
By Guest on 07-Sep-2026Another great stay despite the few days of rain. Already booked again for 2027. Within easy reach of Newquay and perranporth, 2 of the places we love to visit. Clean and well stocked. Everything you could possibly need with the advantage of a very warm hot tub which is lovely for relaxing your aching muscles after a full day out. X
Brilliant
By Guest on 18-Aug-2026Wheelchair and dog friendly lets in the south west are quite difficult to find, and we didn't hold out much hope of being able to get a last minute break in August, but fortunately for us Harrods had some late availability on the dates that we needed. The Stables was clean and tidy, with everything I needed to make the stay a home from home. It is well appointed and there's plenty of room to get around in a wheelchair even with 2 medium dogs doing their best road block impressions. It is in a lovely quiet and secluded area, but close enough to visit all if the usual Cornish tourist spots as well as some hidden gems that we discovered along the way. We all thoroughly enjoyed are stay and look forward to coming back again another time to visit some more places.

The Stables is spotless clean throughout, all level access, outside is a lovely patio area with a table and chairs, to the side of the property is the hot tub and room for your own sun lounger’s should you want to bring them it’s a nice sun trap Thr kitchen it very well equipped and modern and a nice living area, the bedroom is very large with plenty of space for wheelchair access, bedside tables , dressing table and wardrobe and also a nice comfy chair The bathroom/wet room is huge with two different styles of shower head , everything has handrails, the shower, the toilet Whatever your accessibility needs are just let Rebecca know before arrival and they’re met It really is a wonderful place to stay , a perfect base you’ve got peace and quiet if that’s what you’re looking for, or the beach a 10 minute drive away
