Description
Tredenham is a high quality, well equipped family house 4 minutes' walk from the shops and the beach. There are stunning views over Polzeath Bay and Pentire Head to the front to the rear there over farmland to the distant downs in the south. There is a small south-facing garden which is secluded and safe for small children.The holiday cottage, Sleeps up to 8 people - 2 double beds upstairs both with ensuite shower rooms and one with full width balcony, downstairs 2 twin-bedded rooms (one with wash-basin) and a family bathroom, including walk-in shower, bath, basin, and loo. There is also now an outside warm shower for after the beach or surfing.
The small secluded, south-facing garden at the back is not overlooked and has a wonderful view. Mostly lawn, it is a lovely place for a quiet read, to sit and enjoy the sun, or to enjoy a welcome drink. There are chairs and tables and a Weber charcoal BBQ.

Fantastic location
By Joanna D on 19-Jul-2026We had a brilliant stay in this fantastic house. It is in a great position in Polzeath-minutes to the beach and shops. The house is very well set up with lots of space and bathrooms and everything has been thought through. We will definitely be back!
A lovely house in a great position

The house is perfect for a family holiday and has great facilities including a lovely garden, warm outside shower and a utility room. The beds were very comfortable and the upstairs bedrooms have fantastic views - countryside from the back and sea views from the front. The beach, shops and restaurants are all an easy walk from the house. All communication with Christopher was easy and he was so accommodating with our dates. Thank you and we hope to be back!
Wonderful house, great location

Communication with the host was excellent in advance of our trip and the house was spotless on arrival. We appreciated having two bedrooms with an en suite, a utility room and the house generally has more than enough space. We would recommend staying here if in Polzeath and would happily stay again ourselves.

The owners are quietly making good improvements with a new log burner in the sitting room which was gorgeous with the cold windy weather we endured. Nothing better than being all warm and snug whilst watching the wild weather outside. There is also new flooring in the hall and lovely new carpet up in the bedrooms upstairs. I forget what a great spot Tredenham is. Its close to the village but not overlooked, lovely views out to sea and out on the farmland behind. A very private garden which you can sit in reading a book and a very comfortable house inside. I will add that the linen is fantastic, struggled to get out of bed each morning! Thank you! Same again next year?

All the facilities were excellent with particularly comfortable beds. We have stayed in many houses in the area and this is by far the best yet.
