Description
This barn takes its name from the stone from which it was built. The luxury self catering barn, is filled with natural light flowing from the large entrance hall windows through to the bi-fold doors of the Kitchen and the Sitting Room which provides an up lifting space in which to relax, party and enjoy your holiday.Sleeping
Brockram Barn sleeps eight guests across four bedrooms which are split between the ground floor and first floor; three are en-suite and there is a large family bathroom with an extra large shower and bath. On a practical level two bedrooms have super king beds and two have zip-linked beds allowing flexibility to create 2 twin rooms when required; ideal for family and friends, or large groups. For accessibility there is level access to ground floor bedrooms, but there is one step down into living room and kitchen.

Brockram Barn has its own designated garden with outside seating, table tennis table, a charcoal BBQ, and a 5 seater hot tub, where you can enjoy the beautiful views the Eden Valley has to offer. Or if you wish to have a sun-downer why not enjoy our fire pit, (shared with Keld Barn). At the front of the barns, it provides and excellent opportunity to watch the sun set behind out secluded valley and keep warm whilst the stars appear in our dark skies.
There is ample parking to be shared with the adjoining Keld Barn.
Accessibility
Ground Floor rooms are accessible without a step, however there is one step down to the living room/ kitchen and one step down through the bi-fold doors into the garden.
A ramp is available if required.

Brilliant Stay

The outside amenities were great, the hot tub, BBQ and table tennis were all well utilised. The location was really peaceful and quiet. Harriet was very responsive to the couple of queries I raised and was ever so helpful.
We spent a week and had the best time
By Sarah McGovern on 01-Sep-2026We spent the week here in the run up to a family wedding and had the best time. 13 adults and 4 children to please is a hard task but we all absolutely loved it. The grounds, homes and hot tubs are beautifully maintained. It felt secluded yet safe within a beautiful setting. 10/10 would recommend. Thank you for providing the perfect space to make amazing memories ️
3rd visit
By Gill Green on 20-May-2025This is our 3rd visit to Low Ploughlands. We stayed in both barns for a week. They were renovated to a high standard and Harriet has maintained them beautifully. They are well equipped with plenty of crockery, glasses and kitchen ware. The beds are very comfortable and we all appreciated the ensuite facilities. We were blessed with great weather and enjoyed sitting in the garden, admiring the views after our day's walk. We will defintely back.

By Jon on 01-Apr-2021Fantastic accomodation. Spotlessly clean, well appointed, great amenities. Hot tub, table tennis table and table football great extras. Amazing place in the countryside. Great base for activities - hiking, fell running, mountain biking, paddle boarding and gorge scrambling were some of ours. Brilliant holiday
