In recent years our five bedroomed property known as Sandbeds Farmhouse has undergone a full renovation offering spacious accommodation for up to ten guests plus 3 infants.Sandbeds Farmhouse is set in a rural location on our 100 acre farm is a perfect rural retreat for multiple families or multi generational families to holiday together. Sandbeds is located in South East of the Lake District National park just 4 miles from the M6 motorway offers easy access for guests to meet together with upto five parking spaces for our guests. Our home, gardens and the wider Farm Land offers peace and tranquility for a relaxing break after a busy day of sightseeing and activities that both the Lake District and Yorkshire National Park has to offer.
Our guests have easy access to Lakes, Mountains and Market Towns of Kendal and Sedbergh. We offer flexible living accommodation to a high standard whilst respecting the character of a traditional farmhouse with subtle hints of modernity.
Sandbeds is much more than just accommodation with the large open plan fully fitted Kitchen, Dining and Living space providing large reception space for socialising and a separate cosy living room for those quieter moments to watch TV, private space for the Children or workspace with full fibre 1Gb internet.
Sandbeds sleeps up to 10 Adults and Children and upto 3 Infants under 3 years old in 5 generous sized bedrooms with space for cots if needed request on booking, with 1 Bedroom on the Ground Floor supported by a Shower Room and 4 additional Bedrooms on the first Floor and 2 fully fitted Bathrooms with Baths and walk in showers.
A Boot Room and Laundry Room provide the practical space to kick off the boots.
As owners we live on site and are on hand for information/recommendations on the local area. We wish you to experience a fantastic stay with us and enjoy your surroundings that the area has to offer in abundance.

It was a Lovely Stay
By Sabrina on 10-Jul-2026It was a lovely stay. Well furnished and equipped 5 bed house. We love the details and arrangements. This place has a small stream/ creek flowing nearby. Brian and Diane were also helpful with our small BBQ party.

By Jillian on 27-May-2026Lovely place to stay. Very clean and everything as described. Rural location with gorgeous views out. Hosts very responsive and provided welcome basket with tea, coffee,sugar, milk, fresh orange juice, butter and fresh bread which was very thoughtful and much appreciated.
