Couldn't find the lodge straight away due to getting there so late and and bashing down. place was beautiful andnkn the lake, excellent for dogs. place so roomy and comfortable. 5star accommodation. Great value for money aswell

We had booked this lodge as it was close to the waters edge & thought that we could launch our paddle boards from there but it isn’t allowed by the park. That’s something we should have looked into ourselves but thought I’d share incase that was something others would book for. Sitting at the waters edge was nice, little picnic benches & a large grassed area for picnics. We didn’t use the facilities so can’t comment. We did however climb a few fells & the weather & views were stunning, beautiful place & our family loved it. Thank you.
