This does look to be one of the older lodges on the park and does need some tlc but it's also one of the cheaper options! Gary stayed in touch throughout our stay and responded to me quickly. I would stay again.

It was very easy to find, and the lodge itself is modern, immaculately clean and extremely comfortable. We arrived a couple of hours early and Gary was incredibly helpful and responsive, kindly allowing us to check in early as the cleaner had finished, which was really appreciated. The lodge had everything we needed for a relaxing break, and it was great to find an air con unit already running when we arrived, especially as it was around 27 degrees outside. It sits within a wider holiday park with useful facilities such as a restaurant, pool, play areas and a shop, but its real strength is the location. It is ideally placed for exploring the Lake District, with highlights such as Rydal Cave, Stock Ghyll Force and Brockhole on Windermere all within easy reach. There is also a small spa just a minute’s drive away, and Booths supermarket about seven minutes away, which had an excellent food selection. Thank you!
