Our stylish Grade II listed holiday home comprises of three bedrooms and sleeps up to 6 guests, 1 infant and 2 dogs. Popping with personality, this newly refurbished cottage blends original features with a modern zest. The ideal place to feel uplifted as you relax and soak in the wonderful coastline, enjoying the scent of the sea breeze. Whether you wish to savour the coastal activities, or put your feet up and unwind, this home will embrace your desires.
Situated in the historical area of West Quay, close to the RNLI lifeboat station, rockpools, beach and two great family pubs. There is a slipway between the two pubs that takes you onto the beach.
Comfortable sitting room with separate spacious kitchen diner and a family bathroom can. be found on the ground floor. Three bedrooms on the first floor - one King size with en suite and two doubles.

PARKING
Due to the age of the cottages in Irsha Street, there is no on-site parking. However, it is customary for residents to load/unload shopping and passengers outside the cottage before parking up.
Free on-street parking can often be found at the end of Irsha Street or on nearby Torridge Road (35 yards away), which is linked via a small footpath onto Irsha Street - 4 houses away. There are three Pay & Display car parks - 25 yards, 335 yards 975 yards away. All offer hourly, daily and weekly parking, and weekly tourist tickets can be purchased online giving you access to other Torridge District car parks.
A deposit payment of 25% is required to confirm a booking with the balance due 6 weeks before arrival.

By Dean on 27-Jun-2026Sailor Vie is without doubt one of the best holiday cottages we have stayed in during the last 30-plus years of holidaying in the UK. The house was exceptionally clean on arrival and beautifully furnished throughout, making it feel like a real home from home. Every facility and amenity was very well stocked, and it was clear that a great deal of thought had gone into ensuring guests have everything they need for a comfortable stay. Parking was absolutely no issue, with a car park just a few metres away from the property. The beach is only a few minutes' walk away, and the pubs and restaurants in Appledore are equally close, making the location perfect for a relaxing break. The owner was extremely helpful both before and during our stay, providing excellent communication and ensuring everything went smoothly. We would not hesitate to recommend Sailor Vie to our family and friends and would happily return in the future. Thank you Dean & Claire
