Description
Grove Lodge is a contemporary and spacious luxury lodge located at Riviera Bay Coastal Retreat. It is situated in a private avenue of 11 Lodges enjoying stunning, uninterrupted views over St Mary's Bay and Sharkham Point and has direct access to the South West Coast long distance footpath.St Mary’s beach is close by and can be accessed via a set of steps. Berry Head Nature Reserve and the town of Brixham are within easy walking distance from the property.The lodge comprises a living / dining area, kitchen, 2 bedrooms one of which is en-suite, and family bathroom. It benefits from double glazing, gas central heating and extended glass fronted decked area with outdoor dining, giving one of the best sea views anywhere in South Devon. The accommodation comprises;
• an open plan lounge and dining room, with Freeview Smart TV and Free Superfast Wi-Fi
• two bedrooms, the main bedroom with a TV, large walk-in wardrobe and en-suite bathroom with shower. The second bedroom has "zip and link" beds which can be configured to either 1x 6ft king size or 2 x 3ft single beds, and a walk-in wardrobe.
• an option of a sofa bed in the lounge increases the sleeping accommodation to 6 people.
• a family bathroom with luxury walk in shower
• a fully fitted kitchen with gas hob, built in double oven & grill, built in microwave, air fryer, coffee machine, dishwasher, washer / drier, “American-style” fridge-freezer, Iron and ironing board.
.• a decked area with patio dining furniture, accessed through patio doors from the lounge
Gas, electric and bed linen are included, guests are required to bring their own towels. A hair dryer is also provided.
There is access at a small charge to The Bay clubhouse providing a small gym area, cafe, bar and outdoor swimming pool. Local swimming is also available at the public baths in Higher Ranscombe Road and also at Shoalstone Outdoor Pool in Brixham, the cost of which is donation only. There is Waterpark Keywest at Goodrington and of course plenty of local beaches and the sea offer further opportunities for bathing.
Many of our guests enjoy the tranquility and peace and quiet of the outstanding location of our lodge within Riviera Bay Coastal Retreat. The setting of our luxury lodge is stunning and whether you are looking for a quiet retreat, a walking holiday or a family holiday, Grove Lodge offers you luxury accommodation and a perfect base for exploring Torbay and the South Hams.
The lodge can be booked for a full week or for parts of a week/extended weekend, depending upon availability. To book contact us via telephone or email with the make up of your party, home address, telephone number and car registration details. We will then email you full details of the booking process which will include the request of a small deposit with the balance payable 6 weeks before your booking commences. Our cancellation policy is to refund any money paid in the event of illness or any other reasonable circumstances.

Well appointed, fabulous location
By Anna on 01-Aug-2026Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Lodge is very comfortable and well kitted out. Information provision both before and once there was excellent. Location is lovely - what a treat to be able to eat tea and watch dolphins. An easy walk into Brixham; straight onto the coast path, or a short drive to Dartmouth, other local beaches and National Trust properties. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend, and will be a return visitor.
Wonderful lodge looking out to see
By Paul on 04-Jul-2026Sitting on the lodge's decking you look straight out to sea. So relaxing to watch the boats and dolphins - and even one seal. It is a few metres from the coastal footpath with steps down to a lovely beach. Great for exploring the nearby towns such as Brixham, Dartmouth, Totnes. Everything we could possibly need was in the lodge. Comfortable in every respect. Summary: absolutely brilliant week!

The lodge was spotless, ready to check-in to early and had everything you could ever need! Brilliant Brixham
