The Rattles is perfect for a family or friends getaway, sleeping up to 5 people. The property boasts amazing views and is very well equipped so you can make yourself at home and relax, unwind and take time out to enjoy the local area.
Breath-taking panoramic sea views welcome you to the property. Nestled away in the garden you will have private access to your holiday home and a private section of the garden to enjoy.
On the ground floor, there is a king-size bedroom with ocean views. Upstairs there is a double bedroom and on the mezzanine, a futon is set up, complete with skylight windows to watch the stars or look at the ocean.
A generously sized open-plan lounge features large sliding doors across the front of the building, which open onto your private balcony with uninterrupted sea views across to Lundy Island and Morte Point. At the end of the balcony is an al fresco dining area with an outdoor dining table, making it the perfect space to have dinner or enjoy a glass of wine whilst watching the sun go down.
Nearby Woolacombe Beach is an award-winning blue flag beach which is renowned for being a top holiday destination which is safe to swim at and very popular with surfers.
The self-contained apartment is situated directly above Grunta beach, a beautiful quiet beach with huge rock pools. The beaches of Barricane and Combesgate and the main beach of Woolacombe are only 10/15 minutes walk.
There are plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance of the property so allow yourself lots of time to relax and enjoy the local area. The building is located on a quiet hill and set back from the main village, so you can ensure your stay will be tranquil and relaxing. There is a free parking space available for one vehicle meaning you can leave the car and enjoy the area on foot if you prefer.

Can't beat the views

As always fabulous accommodation, great time, everything you need provided and Tim as always very accommodating. Check-in and checkout seamless. Can't beat the views Thanks and be back soon

The accommodation was comfortable and spacious, and we were provided with all the essentials for an enjoyable stay. We also had a safe place on site for our car, a rare find. Tim was only a call away if we needed any help or advice. We would highly recommend this property.

The property is within a couple of minutes walk from the coastal path, where you can walk to Morte Point and sea the seals on the rocks. The property has everything you need and very cosy especially when you use the log burner. Great restaurants in the centre which is about a 20 minute walk, with lovely views all the way. We can’t wait to return.

It was such a treat to gaze out to the sea over breakfast or from the very comfy sofa with a cup of tea. The log burner made it extra cozy. Great location. We really liked the privacy and tranquility of the place but at the same time having Mortehoe Village and Woolacombe just a short stroll away. There are some lovely walks nearby. It''s worth a visit any time of the year. We came in February. The weather turned soon after our arrival which didn''t bother us at all. It just added to the atmosphere. If it was a bit too wet outside, we just admired the views from the inside. We loved being able to just pop out for a short walk around Morte Point and to explore beaches nearby. The property was very clean, modern, spacious and had all the mod cons. Especially the kitchen was very well equipped. The host was very responsive and gave us helpful instructions. We''d definitely visit again.
