Description
Carisbrooke is a detached bungalow, situated in a quiet location in the sea-side town of Seaton and only 100yds from the beach. It achieved a four-star rating by the Visit England assessment service and is furnished to a high standard.The hall entrance has an oak flooring. The kitchen is well supplied with cupboards, cooking utensils, pans, a Range cooker and the usual kitchen appliances. Opposite the kitchen is the lounge/diner. Both bedrooms have double wardrobes, deep chest of drawers, bedside cabinets and electric power points. Extra blankets and a hair-dryer are supplied. The bathroom has an electric shower, shaving point, storage cupboard, heated radiator and airing cupboard
There is a 3 meter (10ft) wide driveway with more than enough room for off-road parking of two cars. One of which is sheltered under a car port. The back of the property has a small private courtyard with provision to accommodate a collapsible rotating washing line which we provide.

For in-season bookings (i.e. greater than £400/week), we charge for a minimum of 7 nights with a Saturday changeover.
However, we will consider other changeover dates in certain circumstances but you will need to contact us to discuss.
For out-of-season bookings (i.e. £400/week) we charge £240 for a minimum of 4 nights with flexible changeover days.
We then charge £60 for each extra night.

What a fantastic fortnight

Sunday lunch at the Old Picture House is very good, and the Ship in Axmouth for any meal too! Plenty to see and do without travelling too far. Seaton trams are excellent too. Thank you to Allistair and Zoe for the flowers and milk. Alan loves your Kit Kat treats. Keep up the good work! Chris & Alan

We were not disappointed
By Shirley & Steve on 04-Jul-2026This is our 1st visit to Carisbrooke and we were not disappointed. Very well equipped bungalow, and so close to the beach. Had a lovely holiday and hope to return. Visited some nice places. Good bus service. Thankyou Zoe & Allistair for your warm welcome. Also thanks for roses, milk, kit-kats.
Another wonderful stay

Have used the great bus service to Sidmouth and Lyme Regis and also done our favourite walks to Branscombe, Beer and Budleigh Salterton. Thank you Zoe and Allistair for another wonderful stay and also the supplies. Looking forward to our next visit in September.

A wonderful bungalow to stay in

Zoe & Allistair have again provided a wonderful bungalow to stay in and a warm welcome, which included an invitation to join them at a charity fund raising event supporting MND. We had a fantastic evening watching the "FABUOLUS FEZHEADS" at the Old Picture House in Seaton. Great old time music hall humour. Looking forward to returning to enjoy another relaxing holiday in the future.
