Found in the heart of the English Riviera and nestled within the hills of Torquay, Vomero is quiet and secluded yet within walking distance of the bustling bay with its shops, bars and restaurants.All apartments enjoy a southerly aspect ensuring Vomero is a real sun trap! Upstairs apartments all have exceptional garden and sea views with private balconies. Downstairs, Venezia has a private covered terrace with direct access into the gardens. The Penthouse is available for those who not just want a holiday but a luxurious experience.

A Hidden Gem with stunning views
By Elkingon on 06-Jun-2026We stayed in the Vomero Apartment on the first floor, central with large balcony. It was spotlessly clean, so much attention to detail, every need catered for. Beautifully decorated and it felt like staying in a National Trust property, lots of history but with a luxury feel. Great to have a separate dressing room with light up mirror for ladies make up and lots of storage. We had a direct view out to sea but also with lovely gardens below.
Penthouse with an exceptional view

Firstly the space, accommodation and balcony were perfect for a base of exceptional standard for our uk getaway exploring the surrounding area. The penthouse had everything you could possibly need and more as a home away from home - the quality of the ‘kit’ was of a high standard, must certainly higher than you would expect in ‘holiday accommodation’ The apartment was so incredibly spotless on our arrival you would think we were the first ever guests to stay here. The owners of this property have certainly put their heart and soul into this well thought out penthouse Can’t recommend highly enough
The perfect getaway

Louise and Sean are the ultimate hosts and have created the perfect environment for a relaxed getaway. The apartment was so beautifully furnished where quality and attention to detail are key. It’s fully equipped with everything you could need. The gardens and views to the sea are stunning. If you want to venture out, there’s a great variety of restaurants and bars just a short walk away. We enjoyed exploring the surrounding area too. We’ll certainly be back, thank you!
Vermero exceeded all expectations
By Stewart on 02-Oct-2024Napoli 2 bedroom sea view balcony apartment I had the pleasure of spending 12 nights at Vermero,. The building is spectacular as is the location, so quiet and peaceful. I had a car but you could walk down into town if you wished. Louise and Sean were the perfect hosts, available if needed but otherwise we were left to our own devices. The 2 bedroom apartment was perfect for my Father and I. It was truly a home away from home. It was well equipped, warm and had a beautiful view. I can’t recommend Vermero enough for your Devon holiday. Thanks again for everything Louise and Sean.
Vomero - a beautiful house and home
By Wilson on 10-Sep-2024The Penthouse 2 bedroom adult only luxury apartment A beautiful old house which the hosts have made into a very comfortable, elegant set of apartments. We stayed in the penthouse - well appointed and everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay, quite apart from the amazing views. Sean and Louise were available if required and indeed when I left an item of jewellery behind, it was very quickly securely mailed on to me. A place to go back to, just lovely!

Lovey friendly hosts who have lots of information on places to visit, places to eat etc. Nice to be contacted prior to the visit with suggested directions, even though it was a last minute booking. Contacted via text to check we were comfortable, quick response when we had a slight problem. Easy to access train, bus and ferry from the harbour. A quiet relaxing break Definitely recommend a stay at Volmero
