Description

THE OLD PRINT SHED is a recently converted barn adjacent to the Owner’s home – also a converted barn – situated in a tranquil location on the edge of the small village of Harberton with its Grade I Listed Church and 13th Century pub (within easy walking distance) lying 3 miles from the medieval town of Totnes which offers a wide range of independent shops, cafes, restaurant and pubs.

The accommodation comprises entrance porch, dining area with beamed ceiling, fitted kitchen and shower room on the ground floor and on the first floor a lounge and bedroom both with exposed roof beams.

Parking is within the adjoining courtyard across which, and up a flight of stone steps, can be found the south facing walled garden with table and chairs where guests can relax by the pond with views across the surrounding countryside.

The property is located within easy reach of the Dartmoor National Park and the beautiful sandy beaches of the South Hams, including Bantham, Thurlestone and Bigbury. Also a short drive away from the coastal towns of Dartmouth, Salcombe and Kingsbridge and the River Dart at Totnes.

Please note we ask visitors not to smoke inside the property and we are unable to accept pets.

The Print Room - In Bold Type

 By John Udal on 17-Jul-2026

This exceptional accommodation is nestled in the pretty village of Harberton. An ideal spot to explore South Hams from for the singleton or a mobile couple. Spotlessly clean & well appointed the reclaimed stone barn was extremely comfortable and meet our requirements superbly. With the added bonus of having our own secluded garden with a seating area by the pond, this property is a credit to the delightful hosts Lin & Martin who provided us with lots of local knowledge & information. If it’s free - do try to book your stay soon!

What an amazing short break

 By Vicki Brown on 16-Jun-2026

A beautiful barn conversation, well appointed and run by two lovely caring owners. Set in a picturesque village with stunning surroundings. The Barn had absolutely everything you need and would expect for a short stay. Most of all it felt like home. Already planning a return visit.

A peaceful sanctuary in beautiful surroundings

 By Mary on 12-Aug-2025

A very comfortable converted outbuilding with bathroom, kitchen and seating area downstairs and bedroom and living room upstairs and, best of all access to a very private walled part of the owners' garden with pond and table and chairs for eating outside and another couple of chairs for relaxing in. The owners are very friendly and caring (without being intrusive). It is in a very pretty village between Totnes and the coast. Has a village pub and church and a shop in the next village,

Wonderful retreat

 By Steve Gray on 30-Aug-2024

From the moment we arrived we were greeted by the owner who made us feel very welcome. The barn conversion is fantastic and extremely cosy and the walled garden is a beautiful peaceful place to relax. We will definitely be returning, and it’s a great place with many walks on the doorstep. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
