Lym House is a beautifully restored coastal home offering elegant, spacious accommodation in the charming seaside town of Lyme Regis, on Dorsets stunning Jurassic Coast. Designed with comfort and style in mind its the ideal base for families or groups of friends looking to relax and explore.
Just a short stroll from the beach, shops, local pubs and restaurants Lym House combines modern luxury with timeless charm. Georgian windows and coastal inspired interiors create a bright and welcoming atmosphere throughout.
The house features five beautifully appointed bedrooms, including two master bedrooms with ensuite, a double bedroom and two twin bedrooms. There is an additional family bathroom on the first floor and shower room downstairs.
A spacious kitchen-diner with seating for 10 and a large breakfast bar perfect for entertaining family or friends. Outside there is a private patio for alfresco dining or an evening drink after a day at the beach.
If your preference is for eating out, Lyme Regis had become a hub of suberp restuarants and bars with locally sourced foods. We are always more than happy to make recommendations and help with reservations.

Lym House Ladies weekend away

Lym House Fossil week
By Jeremy Young on 29-Jun-2026We stayed in Lym House in June, for the Lyme Regis Fossil Festival and, after 20 years of visiting Lyme think this is probably now our favourite house. It is a lovely house and a really nice base for a group stay in Lyme Regis (which is of course a fabulous place to visit). The big dining room - kitchen worked really well for us as a social space, with space to invite friends. The three double bedrooms are all lovely, especially the master suite at the top. The twin rooms are a bit less special but perfectly fine. Having off road parking is a massive bonus in Lyme and a lot less stressful than the normal dash to load and unload while partially blocking a narrow street. Not cheap, but if you want something a bit more luxurious then very well worth considering.
Lym House Family Gathering

It is a beautifully restored historic building in the centre of Lyme Regis with its own parking. It is very comfortable, well appointed and has a superb large kitchen/dining area, for hosting large family gatherings. All bedrooms are lovely, most have good views. The property benefits from being in the historic centre of Lyme Regis. The beach, good restaurants and shops are within easy walking distance.
