Sydenham Cottage has been lovingly refurbished to a high standard, combining stylish interiors and modern comforts with the character and charm of a traditional Weymouth cottage. Perfect for families, couples or friends, the cottage is ideally situated for enjoying everything Weymouth and the Jurassic Coast have to offer. Step outside and you are just moments from the sandy beach, picturesque harbour and lively town centre, while the dramatic cliffs and beautiful countryside of the Jurassic Coast and Dorset Downs are within easy reach.

A Home Away From Home
The fully equipped kitchen opens into a bright and welcoming breakfast room, which leads through to a private, enclosed walled courtyard — the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee or relax with a drink in the evening. A useful storage shed is also provided and stocked with beach essentials, making it easy to head off for a day beside the sea.

Sleeping Arrangements
The cottage is arranged over three floors and comfortably accommodates families or groups of friends.

First floor:
* Spacious king-size bedroom with its own en-suite bathroom
* Stylish family bathroom

Second floor:
* Comfortable double bedroom
* Cleverly designed bunk room, suitable for both adults and children
* Cosy children’s den, providing a fun space for playing, reading or watching TV

The children’s den is a particular favourite for younger guests, giving them their own little hideaway while adults can relax downstairs.

Historic Character
Dating back to the 1800s, Sydenham Cottage retains many of its original features, giving it plenty of character and charm. Guests should be aware that this is a genuine period property, so you will find creaky floors, steep staircases and some low ceilings. These features are an important part of the cottage’s character, but the property may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility.

Guest Access & Parking
Sydenham Cottage is tucked away on a quiet pedestrian lane of just seven characterful cottages, offering a peaceful setting despite being right in the centre of Weymouth.

Luggage Drop-Off
There is no vehicle access directly outside the cottage. However, you can briefly stop nearby to unload luggage before parking your vehicle.

Allocated Parking
Your stay includes one secure, allocated parking space, located approximately:
* 6 minutes’ walk from the cottage, or
* 5 minutes’ drive

The parking area is accessed through a gated entrance. The gate key is kept inside the cottage, so you will need to enter the property first to collect the key before moving your vehicle to the parking space.

To help maintain the peaceful atmosphere of Sydenham Cottage and respect our neighbours, we ask guests to note the following:

* No hen or stag parties or similar celebrations
* Strictly non-smoking
* No pets
* No BBQs anywhere on the property
* Due to the property’s historic design, there are steep staircases and some low ceilings. Please take particular care with young children and guests with limited mobility.
