By Luke on 05-Jul-2026If I could give more than five stars, I would. The English Oak Cabin was the perfect retreat for my girlfriend, toy poodle and I. Everything had been so thoughtfully planned, with brilliant facilities and clear instructions for using the hot tub, barbecue, pizza oven and sauna.The grounds were beautifully kept, the atmosphere was so peaceful, and Amanda and Adam were incredibly kind and helpful hosts. We had an amazing stay and will definitely be returning.

The Lodge had everything we needed for a family getaway, a real home from home. The grounds were nice and secluded and there was plenty of space for the kids to play and explore. Even though there are other lodges, you never feel overlooked or anything. Thanks Amanda and Adam for helping us have a great family holiday!
