Our delightful apartments are one bedroom with en-suite showerroom, fully-fitted kitchen and a relaxing living area. Located on the first floor and our apartments feature high ceilings, original sash windows and plenty of character.

While the décor boasts a modern, luxe feel, it has been inspired by the Regency era and features colours that nod towards the palette at the turn of the twentieth century. This creates a soft, relaxing and inviting space. The flat features:

* a fully-fitted and equipped kitchen area, including hob, oven, fridge freezer, dishwasher, and microwave
* en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower
double bed, and bedroom furnishings including a full size wardrobe
* access to a shared laundry space including washing machine, tumble dryer, ironing board and iron

Named after Gustav Holst, who was born in Cheltenham kin 1874.

Gustav Theodore Von Holst was a composer and music teacher, best known for his orchestral arrangements, including The Planets. He followed three generations of musicians in the family, and studied composing at The Royal College of Music, after neuritis prevented his pursuit of a career as a pianist.

Few of his works gained the same notoriety as The Planets and Holst continued to focus his efforts on teaching and composing rather than seeking any particular fame.

While in Cheltenham, you may wish to visit The Holst Birthplace Museum: Holst's childhood home which retains its original Regency architecture and décor, on show alongside many of Holst's personal effects including the piano on which he composed.

ACCESSIBILITY

First floor apartment, accessed via a wide Victorian staircase with 15 steps, then a further 3 steps. There is no lift.

There is a step of approximately 10cm at the front door. While this can be bridged with a ramp, and we have done our best to make the flat as accessible as possible, the historic nature of the building has placed some limits on our accessibility measures and wheelchair users will find it restrictive.

The first step on the main staircase is slightly steeper so care must be taken.

There is a small step of approximately 5 cm into the porch.
Upon entering there are then 2 steps (of approx. 10cm each) into the main living area and a further step into the bathroom.

En-suite bathroom with walk-in shower NOT a wet room. There is a small lip of 1.5cm to get into the shower.
There is a small lip of approx. 1cm between the bedroom and bathroom.
