Avon Vale is a detached one bedroom cottage nestled within the woods of the beautiful New Forest National Park in the picturesque quiet village of Woodgreen.
The cottage is the perfect place to explore the New Forest from and relax in the large woodland garden where deer come to graze

Actually situated on the Avon Valley Path in the New Forest National Park, this is an ideal base from which to explore the New Forest with beautiful walks in every direction on your doorstep. In the cottage there are OS maps of the local areas to help you explore.

Woodgreen village has an excellent traditional pub (dog friendly) serving very good food and also has a community shop with post office selling a large range of local produce making it very possible to not have to use your car once you are here.

Well behaved dogs are very welcome
Please note -we do need to be notified before booking as to what pets you are bringing and regret we cannot take very young puppies without prior agreement .

Outside is a small private patio area with table and chairs complete with bbq, with access to a large shared woodland garden and lawn with table and chairs backing onto private woods where deer can be seen in the early morning.

As well as being perfect for walkers Woodgreen is also very well located for riding, cycling, fishing and golf.

Check in is anytime after 2pm and check out is by 11am unless notified otherwise
(We do let guests arrive earlier and stay later where possible).

Nearest train stations are Salisbury and Bournemouth.
The nearest bus route is the X3 which runs between Salisbury train station Bournemouth town centre.

We do offer a £25 discount if you would like to bring your own bed linens and towels (all other bedding still provided)
All logs, kindling and firelighters are supplied for the wood burner.
Dog friendly – charges apply of £8 per pet per stay
