By on 18-Jun-2026After a tough 18 months with two immediate family bereavements I was looking for somewhere to go on holiday with my dad and nearly inherited dog and honestly I couldn’t have asked for better. The house was immaculate, Justine was super responsive, the garden was beautiful (not sure how you manage that with guests but wow) thank you so much for making our first little holiday away after such a difficult time so much easier and stress free. The personalised touch for Poppy was especially sweet and she very much enjoyed her biccies. I would highly recommend and hopefully I’ll be able to return soon and for longer!

By on 01-Aug-2026We had a fantastic stay here and wouldn’t hesitate to return. The accommodation was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing family break. It was ideal for our two young children, with plenty of space for them to enjoy themselves, and our dog was made to feel just as welcome. The location was excellent, with lots of lovely walks nearby and easy access to local attractions. The hosts were friendly, responsive, and made the whole experience effortless from start to finish. Overall, a brilliant place for families and anyone travelling with a dog. Highly recommended!

We have just returned...
By on 26-Aug-2026We have just returned from a fantastic 9 day stay at 23 Albert Road Cottage. The house was spotless and had everything we could need and more which made our stay with two young children both enjoyable and relaxing as we didn't need to overload the car with all the accessories that young children tend to come with as the house was fully equipped. Justine had thought of everything we could possibly need and was quick to respond to any queries. We also booked our ferry tickets through the listing taking advantage of the discount provided with our stay. The location of the house was also perfect for us with young kids as it was peaceful with lovely short walks to the local beaches. If travelling to 23 Albert Road Cottage be sure to check out the hidden gem of a beach at the bottom of Lynda's Wood and pop over to the Woodvale Hotel for some lovely food. There is so much more for us to do and discover so we will absolutely love to return at some point in the future.
