Description
Jolls Cottage is full of character, combining the charm of a Grade II listed country cottage with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Three bedrooms sleep up to six guests, with a king-size bed, double bed and twin bedroom. Downstairs you’ll find a cosy sitting room, dining space and well-equipped kitchen, with excellent Wi-Fi throughout. Outside is one of the things that makes Jolls particularly special. There’s a huge private, dog-safe garden with plenty of room to relax and enjoy the countryside, together with your own hot tub, outdoor dining area and summerhouse. By on 03-Jun-2026We had a wonderful weekend stay at David’s lovely cottage. David is very responsive and accommodating. The property was beautifully maintained, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing family getaway. The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped, making it easy to prepare meals during our stay. The spacious garden was a real highlight for us. It provided plenty of room for the kids to run around and explore safely, while the summerhouse offered lots of entertainment options that kept everyone occupied throughout the weekend. The darts was a great hit for all of us. The hot tub was the perfect finishing touch – a fantastic place to unwind and relax after a day of activities. Overall, this is a charming and well-appointed cottage that caters wonderfully to both families and groups looking for a peaceful escape.

Charming cottage with luxurious...
By on 22-Jul-2026Charming cottage with luxurious facilities and beautiful garden. Nice and quiet place to stay with a family with young kids (lots of toys and games for them to explore). The jacuzzi is great as well! Some parts of the cottage could do with some refurbishing, but everything was still working properly, so it did not cause us any issues. The house is beautifully maintained and incredibly well equipped, with everything you could possibly need and so many thoughtful details that made it feel special and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The garden is a true highlight: a real dream, clearly cared for with great attention (a big compliment to the gardener!). Our children loved having the space to play, and the whirlpool was an added bonus that we all thoroughly enjoyed. The surroundings are equally beautiful, with plenty to do nearby – from interesting museums and castles to great opportunities for antique hunting. David was a fantastic host: proactive, incredibly friendly, and always responsive. He provided very helpful tips that made our stay even better. We absolutely loved our stay and would highly recommend this cottage to anyone.

By on 05-Aug-2026We had the most amazing weekend here. It is a genuinely beautiful cottage with an exceptional garden. We hardly left all weekend as we were so content just to stay and sit in the garden! The kids and dog loved it, as did we. It also had the best - equipped kitchen of anywhere we’ve ever stayed. We will definitely be returning. The hot tub was a great bonus for the kids as was the games room - we hardly saw them all day! Thank you so much. It was just what we needed as a family x
