Description
The barn is situated opposite the wonderful wildlife reserve of Pensthorpe, in open country - the views from the barn are so expansive that you can barely see another house. The underfloor and gas central heating ensure that it is always cosy but, in the summer, the open plan living area with 3 sets of French windows mean you can enjoy al fresco living. The contemporary furnishings are comfortable and stylish. There is plenty of dining furniture etc so that you can have your friends around easily. The local area has many excellent pubs and restaurants and on the coast at Holkham and Wells you will find beautiful sandy beaches. Close to all amenities, yet peaceful and surrounded by wildlife
By June on 15-May-2026We loved this barn. Its location was perfect for us being within easy driving distance of the north coast, close to all amenities & yet peaceful & surrounded by wildlife. The barn itself was cosy, immaculately presented & clean. If we chose to holiday in Norfolk again Alethorpe Barn would definitely be our accommodation of choice.
Peaceful and relaxing
By Virginia on 19-Jun-2026My husband and myself found this cottage absolutely lovely. well done.. so peaceful, relaxing, history on the barn and village would be nice, we love trying to do a history trail whilst we are away we also loved looking at the birds and wild life . Thank you for the wine ect :)
The best we have stayed in
By Jonathan on 10-Jul-2026We holiday regularly in Norfolk and this is by far the best property we have stayed at. The barn itself is lovely and the location is perfect. There is lots of local wildlife (birds, hares, muntjacs, and even pine martens) to see and the barn has an excellent viewing gallery. We very much hope to return there.
A spacious and lovely place to stay

We all enjoyed the week and found the barns to be well-equipped and spacious. and very suitable for us all. They were spacious and well-equipped. The younger members of the family enjoyed the freedom of the grounds and walks from the barns. It was a lovely position to travel to many beach and country and plenty to see and do for all ages and abilities. When not out and about it was very peaceful to view the lovely countryside and wildlife. The owner, Katherine was very pleasant to speak to when booking, and Jodie who looks after everything nearby was very helpful. Thank you for the welcome tray.and for the use of your lovely barns.
