Description
The barn is situated opposite the wonderful wildlife reserve of Pensthorpe, in open country - the views from the barn are so expansive that you can barely see another house. The underfloor and gas central heating ensure that it is always cosy but, in the summer, the open plan living area with 3 sets of French windows mean you can enjoy al fresco living. The contemporary furnishings are comfortable and stylish. There is plenty of dining furniture etc so that you can have your friends around easily. The local area has many excellent pubs and restaurants and on the coast at Holkham and Wells you will find beautiful sandy beaches. The barn is the perfect place from which to explore the area and enjoy a home away from home. You can book the properties either singly, or as a pair for larger parties.Bedroom Details

A spacious and lovely place to stay
By Joyce and Family on 24-Jul-2026The family stayed in both Alethorpe and Wanstead Barns as there were 7 of us in total. We all enjoyed the week and found the barns to be well-equipped and spacious. and very suitable for us all. They were spacious and well-equipped. The younger members of the family enjoyed the freedom of the grounds and walks from the barns. It was a lovely position to travel to many beach and country and plenty to see and do for all ages and abilities. When not out and about it was very peaceful to view the lovely countryside and wildlife. The owner, Katherine was very pleasant to speak to when booking, and Jodie who looks after everything nearby was very helpful. Thank you for the welcome tray.and for the use of your lovely barns.

Lovely barn conversion

It was spotlessly clean, very well equipped and really comfortable, a great place to go back to after a day exploring. The owners had thought of everything to make for an enjoyable stay. The wildlife in the garden and fields beyond was fantastic, with a wide range of birds that included a green woodpecker. The property is well located for visiting many of the attractions in North Norfolk. Highly recommended!
Stunning location

Plenty of wildlife on the doorstep, including deer,partridges,pheasants,hares and lots of different small birds. Great base from which to explore the North Norfolk coast. Very comfortable and well equipped. Would highly recommend.
