This charming 1-bedroom property offers a cosy kitchen, dining area, lounge, and a beautifully spacious garden. With a local pub and village shop just minutes away, a stunning sandy beach under 10 miles away, and numerous cycle routes right on its doorstep, Violet Lodge provides the perfect home away from home for anyone looking to make the most of their time in Norfolk. Parking is available on-site.
The space
Bedroom:
The spacious bedroom features a king-sized bed with bedside cabinets and reading lamps, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. A large mirror adds to the room’s functionality, enhancing the airy and comfortable atmosphere.
Bathroom:
The modern bathroom is accessible and includes a shower, W/C, and wash basin.
Lounge:
At the heart of the lodge is the living area, featuring two comfortable armchairs and a flat-screen television. Board games and books are available for your entertainment. Double doors open directly onto the patio and garden, filling the space with natural light and offering lovely garden views.
Kitchen and Dining:
The kitchen is fully equipped with all the cookware and utensils you might need, along with modern conveniences such as a dishwasher and a washer/dryer. The dining table for two is perfect for evening meals or a quick breakfast before a busy day exploring.
Outside:
Double doors from the lounge open out directly onto the patio, where you’ll find an outdoor table and chairs for two, perfect for enjoying the tranquil setting. The garden itself comprises a very spacious lawned area, ideal for relaxing and taking in the peaceful setting.

Community shop stocked lots of treats. Cycling + a day on the Broads. Local walks & watching the deer. What more could you ask for & with the windows open it was perfectly cool through warm days & evenings. Thank you. Perhaps one day we will be back.

By David & Carole HORNE on 20-Jun-2026Had a really wonderful week in Violet Lodge. Fully equipped to the point that we tried to think of something missing but no joy in that direction. We had everything we could possibly need and the Lodge is superb. The wildlife in the garden was a perfect reason to be up bright & early in the morning and once dusk came we were off to bed. Had to be up early next morning ! The Lodge is toally private. We didn't draw any blinds any night. The owners (Simon & Tricia) were very welcoming. We'd recommend this Lodge to anyone. We usually are lucky with our holiday choices.
