As owners, we live in the separate Manor house building next door, but we maintain privacy around the cottage, unless you request help or advice, which we are then always happy to provide. Braunston Manor Cottage
By Grace on 26-Jul-2026We had a lovely time at Braunston Manor Cottage, and in Braunston. It was the perfect relaxing getaway and throughly enjoyed the peace and quiet. The cottage was even better than we could have imagined. I was very impressed with how stocked the kitchen was, and the many cookbooks- truly a cook's paradise away from home. The garden as well was truly stunning. You can tell how much pride Gerry and Fiona take in the property. Their precious pups as well were incredibly friendly and kept us great company. The whole home was ultimately cozy with the loveliest modern ammenities. The cottage was spotless and had so many special touches that really went above and beyond. We are very happy with our long weekend and hope to return in future!

By Germaine on 20-Jul-2026Just fabulous! We used the cottage as a base for a wedding and were delighted with our booking. It would suit use as a base and equally as the destination. Cottage itself is beautiful. With quality bedding and towels and decorated with style. Fresh flowers and a welcome basket were lovely touches. The outside space is just beautiful, an eating/ chilling area surrounded by plants and flowers and a private lawned area. Hosts lovely and great communicators and flexible. Easy road links for exploring and great surrounding walks, especially along the canal. Many pubs and eateries within walking distance too. Just perfect!

By Nick on 10-Jul-2026A lovely home that was perfect for two couples. Both bedrooms are sufficiently spacious with good en suite bathrooms. The kitchen is well stocked with quality utensils and equipment, the sitting room has comfortable settees, plus the outdoor area is a bonus for all fresco dining, helped by the provision of bbq and bag of coal. The generous welcome pack of goodies was a nice touch. Gerry and Fiona live next door and were responsive to our requests as well as a mine of information about the locality.

By Valerie on 28-Jun-2026Gerry and Fiona are super friendly. They met us at the cottage and made us feel right at home. The cottage may have been built around 1650 but inside it had every modern amenity you may want while still maintaining its charm. The cottage and village are exactly why someone would choose to stay in the English countryside instead of the city. The loop walk through the village, down and along the canal to a pub, and back was a beautiful walk. Unfortunately circumstances at home forced us to leave early so we didn’t get to explore much but hopefully we’ll be back soon to finish our holiday.

By Amy on 08-Jun-2026What a beautiful place! Everything about this place was so lovely. Fiona was such a great host and the beautiful dogs were an added bonus (but also not intrusive at all!) Such a lovely location with walks on the doorstep. Would definitely recommend!
