Chaff House is beautifully presented and is really popular with families and couples. The beds can be configured to suit guest preferences and all single beds zip and link to make a huge super-kingsize bed. We offer free wifi, plenty of car parking, well-tended garden areas, outdoor furniture and lots of green outside space and fresh air! There are miles of waggonways and walks to enjoy straight from the cottage door too - perfect for your dog-friendly stay with us.

Burradon Farm is the perfect place for a self catering holiday in Northumberland. We are located close to Northumberland’s beautiful coast and countryside and within easy reach of the fabulous city of Newcastle upon Tyne.

Burradon Farm is a 400 acre, family-run, working farm at the heart of which lies the 14th Century Pele Tower - a little bit of history right on our doorstep!

There are many local attractions for all of the family to enjoy. We are just a short drive to beautiful beaches at Seaton Sluice, Whitley Bay and Tynemouth, as well as stunning beaches a little further North such as Cresswell, Beadnell and Bamburgh.

We are spoilt for choice when it comes to castles and stately homes in the North East - guests love Alnwick Castle, Warkworth Castle and of course, the magnificent Bamburgh Castle! When it comes to stately homes, Seaton Delaval Hall is just ten minutes away and Belsay, Gibside, Cragside are all just a short drive. Of course, no visit to Northumberland would be complete without a visit to Hadrian's Wall!

There are a host of other activities to enjoy too: Holy Island, Beamish, shopping in one of our local market towns such as Morpeth or Corbridge, Tynemouth Sealife Aquarium, Newcastle Castle and ghost tours, Ad Gefrin Whisky Distillery, boat trips to see birds, seals and wildlife on the Farne Islands, museums, art galleries, music and theatre venues and art trails, to name just a few!

There are a host of local restaurants and cafes to experience - head to the coast for the best seafood or visit one of the fantastic dog-friendly cafes with your four-legged friend. Whether you're looking for cosy pubs with hearty grub or gastronomic feasts, the North East has something for everyone.
