Kitchen & Dining
At the heart of Springhaven is the kitchen diner — a light-filled space with vaulted ceilings, a bespoke 3m bamboo dining table, breakfast bar, and bespoke blue cabinetry. It opens onto the patio, with pergolas that can be open for sunshine or closed for shelter, perfect for outdoor meals in any weather. There’s also a large gas barbecue for relaxed family cooking.
Living Spaces
The spacious lounge offers plenty of room for everyone to unwind, there's a separate TV room - perfect for the kids, and another rear sitting room, giving everyone their own space. There's also a separate utility/laundry room to keep things practical for longer stays.
Bedrooms & bathrooms
The master bedroom on the first floor features a super king bed and ensuite bathroom with a shower over bath. Also on the first floor, the four-poster super king suite offers a luxurious ensuite with a freestanding slipper bath and walk-in shower.
On the top floor, you’ll find a king-sized double and a cheerful children’s room (three singles, or one large double plus one single if preferred), both with sea views and a shared shower room.
On the ground floor, there’s a double bedroom with ensuite — ideal for anyone who prefers not to use the stairs.

Springhaven sits in a quiet cul-de-sac overlooking a private green, with direct access to Dymchurch’s long sandy beach. It blends Edwardian charm with contemporary coastal design — light, relaxed, and made for time together. Wow!
By Sharron Atkins on 21-Jun-2026Wow! 3 generations of our family just spent the weekend at this wonderful house, and I can't recommend it highly enough - it far exceeds even what the photos show. The house itself is large and airy, and set in a quiet private cul-de-sac. So though you're only a 5 minute walk to Dymchurch via the sea wall, you could be in the middle of nowhere. A gated plot,the back garden was a hit with our little dog, and we felt secure and safe. It's furnished equisitely, with lots of family touches, but even so you don't feel like you're intruding in someone's home, just staying in a lovely house. All my family commented on the fantastic bathrooms and super-comfy beds!! The attraction for us was the massive kitchen and outside dining area, which was extremely well-equipped and helped us have a great time catching up over a BBQ and long breakfasts outside. This is probably the most I've ever spent on an AirBNB but it was definitely worth it. Write a public reply
Jo’s place was amazing!

I have been coming to Dymchurch since I was a child and have so many great memories but this trip was one of the best and that was mainly down to where we stayed. I’ve stayed in caravans and hotels when I’ve been before but we will be coming back to Jo’s when available. Beautiful inside and out, had everything you could possibly think of and more. A downstairs bedroom was a massive win for us as my nan and granddad can no longer do the stairs and with an en-suite they could go to the toilet and shower without worrying about the stairs. Every room in the house was perfect and exactly what we needed. Jo was really helpful whenever I had any questions and responded instantly. Thank you Jo for your hospitality and for being a huge part of my family making some very special memories. We will be back.

I have been staying in holiday rentals ...
By Geraldine Nixon on 08-Aug-2026I have been staying in holiday rentals along the Dungeness to Hythe coast all my life - as a child, then with my own small children, and now as adults with my gorgeous grandchildren. This is the best house we have ever stayed in! It felt like home straight away and had everything we needed. The rooms were huge and, even with four different households sharing, there were enough bathrooms to have personal privacy, but space to share mutual spaces in comfort. We found the games table in the alcove which we unfolded and played round each evening. We were blessed with fine weather and particularly enjoyed the bbq and huge outside seating area. The beach is just across the green (altho getting the beach trolley down all the steps was a struggle), dog friendly from that point, but lacked the crowds you find further into Dymchurch. A short stroll along the prom and we had shops, amusements, funfair etc. A perfect holiday, thank you.

We moved a number of ornaments but all in all the facilities worked well with a 5yr and 20 month old, especially the secluded rear garden and patio seating and dining area, where we spent most of our time when not out exploring or on the beach. The location of the house away from the arcades etc meant that the beach was very quiet in fact we had it almost too ourselves. The washing machine proved useful. Proximity of the house to the beach was excellent and only a short walk to the amusements, arcade and steam railway. We had a wonderful few days making happy family memories and may well look to return next summer. Thank you Jo
