Platform Three

Step into a world of refined luxury at Platform Three; relax on your private balcony, unwind in the outdoor soaking tub or retreat indoors to the bespoke copper bath. It forms part of the former Station Master’s residence and has been reimagined as a boutique sanctuary. Situated at an active railway station near the Malvern Hills, this is where industrial railway heritage meets high-end opulence. From the plush bedroom suite to the outdoor heated soaking tub, every detail radiates luxury. *please note - the property is located at an active railway station.

Set in the heart of Worcestershire, Malvern is a wonderfully distinctive destination where dramatic countryside, Victorian elegance, rich history and independent charm come together. Platform Three places you right at the heart of it all. Step outside and you’ll find yourself surrounded by the atmosphere of a working railway station, while the beautiful town of Great Malvern and the magnificent Malvern Hills are just waiting to be explored. The Malvern Hills No visit to Malvern is complete without experiencing the hills. Stretching for around nine miles above the town, the Malvern Hills offer some of the most spectacular views in the Midlands, reaching across Worcestershire and the Severn Valley towards the Cotswolds, Herefordshire and, on a clear day, the Black Mountains. There are walks to suit every ability, from gentle strolls to more challenging climbs. The Worcestershire Beacon, the highest point of the range, is particularly spectacular at sunrise and sunset. Great Malvern Just a short journey away by train, Great Malvern is a beautiful Victorian spa town filled with independent shops, cafés, restaurants, galleries and historic buildings. Take a stroll through Church Street and explore the fascinating history of the town, discover one of its many ancient springs, or simply settle down for coffee and watch the world go by. At the heart of the town sits Great Malvern Priory, a magnificent medieval building with an extraordinary history and architectural treasures to discover. Culture & Entertainment Malvern has a surprisingly rich cultural scene. Malvern Theatres sits beside the beautiful Priory Park and welcomes an impressive programme of West End productions, theatre, comedy, music, dance and cinema throughout the year. For literature lovers, Malvern also has connections with both C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien, while music lovers can discover the story of Sir Edward Elgar, who was born just outside Malvern. Food, Drink & Independent Shopping Malvern is perfect for a leisurely day of exploring. You’ll find independent boutiques, galleries, bookshops, delis, cafés, pubs and restaurants dotted throughout the town. Whether you’re looking for a relaxed breakfast, a leisurely lunch, cocktails, or somewhere special for dinner, there is plenty to discover locally. Days Out & Events The Three Counties Showground sits beneath the Malvern Hills and hosts a packed calendar of events throughout the year, including the RHS Malvern Spring Festival, Royal Three Counties Show, Malvern Autumn Show and numerous other exhibitions and events. The surrounding Worcestershire countryside also makes an excellent base for exploring further afield, with historic villages, country estates, gardens and beautiful walks all within easy reach. And then there’s the railway… Of course, staying at Platform Three is an experience in itself. There aren’t many places where you can enjoy a luxury stay right beside a working railway station, watching trains arrive and depart while the Malvern Hills rise beyond. It is this wonderfully unexpected combination of railway heritage, luxury accommodation, countryside and Victorian charm that makes Platform Three such a unique base for your stay. Whether you’re here for a romantic escape, a countryside adventure, a theatre break, an event at the Three Counties Showground or simply a few days of doing absolutely nothing, Malvern has something waiting for you.
