Wonderful family stay
By Guest on 15-Jun-2026We had an amazing week staying in all three cottages at Newhill Farm to celebrate my husband’s 70th birthday. There were 14 of us and the accommodation was perfect, very comfortable and clean. We were all able to eat together at the large table in Horse Mill Cottage which was ideal. Great for each of our children and their families to have their own accommodation. The hot tubs, pool, games room and tennis courts were incredible and the children aged from 18 months - 14 years loved the facilities. It was wonderful to be out in the fresh air and we enjoyed the local walks in the forest and watching the lambs and calves in the adjoining field. The short trip into town for shopping and a take away meal was great. Kate and Ian were wonderful hosts and were keen to make sure we had everything we needed. They have thought of everything and provided activities and games to keep all ages happy regardless of the weather. Perfect accommodation and facilities for a big family getaway. I highly recommend a stay at Newhill Farm Cottages.
Fantastic accommodation for family break
By Lorna on 15-Dec-2025We had a wonderful stay at the holiday cottages which we booked for a special family get-together. It was absolutely perfect. The accommodation was comfortable and well laid out, giving everyone room to relax together or enjoy some quiet time. The facilities were excellent and thoughtfully provided, making our stay easy and enjoyable from start to finish. The games room was a big hit with the kids and the pool is just amazing and kept immaculately clean. The location is perfect too and we enjoyed visiting the local area or having walks in the forest trails right on the doorstep. A fantastic place for making special family memories – we would highly recommend it and would love to return.
Long weekend stay
By Anne on 09-Mar-2026Lovely location for a quiet break. The accommodation has everything you need in it and very comfortable. Hot tub & swimming pool was a great addition to our stay. Will definitely return.
Family get together
By James on 16-Feb-2026We booked all 3 houses for a family get together, a mix of adults children so we had the whole place to ourselves. We all had a great time with the facilities. A good sized swimming pool and indoor jacuzzi and in a separate building there was a a family games room with a pool table and a table football game. There was also some indoor gym equipment for anyone on a health kick, we were also able to take our dogs(at a small , reasonable extra payment) There are various woodland and countryside walks which the whole family enjoyed along with the dogs and for a couple of extra bonuses there was a tennis court with equipment and each house had its own jacuzzi. Finally, each house was furnished to a good standard and were well equipped.

A great venue for a large family holiday
By Leslie on 17-Nov-2025Our group of 8 adults, 6 kids and a toddler found the accommodation highly suitable for our needs. The accommodation was very well- equipped, and it was warm and comfortable. The leisure facilities were fabulous. The kids had enormous fun in the pool in particular.
