The house is in a quiet cul de sac with easy access to a network of forest paths much to the enjoyment of our children who loved the freedom and of the adults who appreciated the peace and beauty. There was an abundance of activities to fill each day and a pleasant home to return to in the evening.

I can’t rate this highly enough! I wish I could have booked it for a month! The area was perfect as a jumping off point for a wide area of activities. The house was very comfortable, so quiet, and had great books, games, movies, etc. We had a large group of mixed ages and it was great for all! Thank you for a wonderful time!

What a great find! Gillian is a lovely host and the house couldn't have been in a better location for our stay. Her excellent communication included spot on directions to find her home with check in instructions. Her home is spacious, clean and well apportioned for our 3-day stay. She has instructions for everything in the house and suggestions for finding the fun spots in town. Carrbridge is the perfect location for a quiet stay in the national forest. It's close to many attractions including Culloden Field, Clava Cairns, Cawdor Castle, Inverness and Aviemore is only a few miles away with everything you may need. Best of all it is super quiet with peaceful gardens in the front and back. We loved watching the birds in the backyard through a large window in the dining room. We could easily walk to several dining options right in town. Thank you Gillian for a most beautiful stay. You and your home were the perfect choice for our vacation!

A small house where you immediately feel at home … very comfortable, very well located near the Cairngorms, in a very quiet residential area, with walks nearby … In short, everything you need for a wonderful stay (even though it was too short for us!). Address worth recommending!

We took our 3 adult children on a 10 day trip to Scotland. This was our 2nd stop of 3 and it was the best by far! It was a home in all senses of the word. Comfortable, well equipped, warm, and inviting. The location was great for exploring the area. The downtown was cute with some good food options. It was a short drive to groceries in Aviemore which was convenient. And, when we went there we were so glad to be in Carrbridge as it is not touristy nor as busy! Gillian was incredibly responsive and everything was super easy and well explained. I would HIGHLY recommend staying with Gillian!!!

Wonderful place! Had a fantastic weekend for a 50th birthday, with friends, plenty of room, cozy fire in living room, well equipped kitchen and lovely little style touches everywhere. Walking distance to good pub grub , Landmark for the kids and a short drive to Aviemore. Walking and cycling paths galore!
