This beautiful architect-designed, purpose-built holiday cottage by Loch Lomond sleeps 8 people in four fully en-suite bedrooms.
A large open plan living space with kitchen, dining and lounge areas provides the perfect setting for family and friend get-togethers with lots of room for everyone.
Netflix and Wi-fi are provided free of charge.
Huge picture windows fill the cottage with natural light and give stunning views across open countryside towards the distant Kil[patrick Hills.
The south-facing patio and barbecue are ideal for al-fresco dining, whilst a cosy log burner in the lounge area gives winter cheer.
At night snuggle down and snooze on cosy egyptian cotton sheets in one of the double bedrooms - each with its own bathroom.
This prime Loch Lomond accommodation is situated on a quiet back road but is convenient for the many surrounding attaractions. A car is recommended and there is ample parking for four vehicles. The cottage is surrounded by a private garden with privacy hedges.

Fantastic week

They have beautiful communal spaces both outside and inside with a very well equipped kitchen so we cooked at home each night. En suite bathrooms allowed us all to have privacy and were very welcomed. They kindly provided a high chair for our infant too. They are well located for the beautiful east side of Loch Lomond and we did daily trips out with either a short drive or walked from the house - making the most of pram friendly down to Croftamie and Drymen. Murray and Alli were friendly and excellent at communicating. We would happily recommend staying at their beautiful home!

Really lovely place to stay
By William on 02-Aug-2026Really lovely place to stay. In a very peaceful area, but close to Loch Lomond and to Glasgow (our visit was partly timed around the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow). We really liked The But & Ben cafe in the village. Spacious house with a great kitchen/living space and the en-suites with each bedroom make it ideal for groups of adults which is what we are as a family. Owners were great and very helpful with recommendations and advice.

Whether you're relaxing indoors or taking in the sights, the scenery is nothing short of breathtaking. The cottage itself is well-equipped with everything you could possibly need. The hosts have thoughtfully provided all amenities, making sure that guests feel right at home. The space is warm and cozy, with a welcoming atmosphere that invites relaxation. It’s clear that the owners care about their guests’ comfort, as the place is immaculately clean and thoughtfully decorated. One of the highlights was the abundance of information provided. The hosts had put together a great selection of local guides and recommendations, which made exploring the area a breeze. Whether we were looking for local attractions, walking trails, everything was easily accessible. Overall, our stay at Appletree Cottage was fantastic. It’s a perfect spot for anyone looking to escape and unwind in a peaceful, beautiful setting. I highly recommend it!
