If you love a more traditional property, the Wing of Crosswoodhill farmhouse is the one for you, We do have more contemporary properties on the farm too. Guests love the Wing’s cosiness and ambience inside with its original pine shutters and panelling. Equally appealing to guests is the thoughtfulness behind what’s provided and the long stretch of garden exclusive to the Wing. Behind this is our great play area for kids in the woods. With 3 bedrooms upstairs but only one bathroom with a bath and a power shower, it sleeps up to 6 guests. Downstairs is the kitchen and living/ dining room . One bedroom has a pair of very comfy bunk beds and cupboards full of toys and games to while away time if guests want a restful at-home day, in between exploring the area around Crosswoodhill offering attractions to visit and a wealth of activities for all ages. Located in central Scotland between Edinburgh ( 18 miles to its heart ) and Glasgow an hour’s drive away, Crosswoodhill is in easy reach of appealing and very different areas like Stirling, the Trossachs, seaside towns in East Lothian or over the Forth Bridge into Fife. Maybe venture south into Midlothian or the Scottish Borders with beautiful countryside peppered with historic buildings. Or simply bring your boots and step out onto the Pentland Hills from your front door and explore our hills full of grazing sheep.
