Description
Formerly the staff quarters, The Bell Loft has been sympathetically and totally refurbished to provide a luxury self catering holiday home. On the first floor of Noddsdale House, it has its own private door and staircase.The two bedrooms can either be super-kings or single beds – big and comfy for a good night’s sleep, with at least 250 thread count 100% cotton bedlinen and beautifully hand embroidered pillowcases. Pillows and duvets are 100% British Wool from The Wool Room, traceable back to the farm they came from, allergy friendly and wonderfully comforting – warm in winter and cool in summer – bliss! The curtains are interlined as well, so keep you extra cosy in winter. Each bedroom has a bathroom across the passage. The master bedroom has the larger bathroom with a separate shower. The other has a shower over the bath. Flooring is allergy friendly and there are plenty of sumptuous towels.
The comfortable Living/Dining/Kitchen area come together to create a delightful space with an open fire. There is a flat screen freeview tv, dvd and Bluetooth radio, Wifi, chairs and sofa-bed, a reclaimed pine dining table which can be extended, a small library of books, games, cards, dvds and cds.
The kitchen is rather fun with a Belfast sink, a Zodiac Quartz worktop and every utensil a cook could need including a nespresso coffee machine and some supplies to get you started.
Central heating throughout is electric. There is a shared laundry room under The Granary with a washing machine, tumble drier, and pulleys. There is also a washing line on the drying green to catch the Ayrshire breeze if you would prefer not to use the drier! There is room for storing bikes in the laundry if required. There are garden benches and picnic chairs as well as sun loungers for relaxing/reading in different shared areas of the grounds.

Second Stay
By Mark on 02-Sep-2020This was our second stay at Noddsdale, but our first stay in the Bell Loft. Like the Granary, the Bell Loft is spacious and very well-equipped for our family of three. Highlights are 2 bathrooms in the Bell Loft, but a superb view of Great Cumbrae from the Granary. Mrs Evans is delightful to deal with: always very friendly and thoughtful.
Another wonderful stay at Noddsdale

As we fully expected, it was presented to the same extremely high standards that we have come to expect at Noddsdale and we were not disappointed. The entire apartment is a delight, beautifully maintained, spotlessly clean, fully equipped and a delight to stay in. We are already planning our return to Noddsdale.
Lovely location with access to the Highlands & Islands
By Michael on 14-Jun-2021Lovely flat in beautiful grounds looking down to the sea and Scottish islands. The flat has everything you could need and Jane, the host, made us very welcome. We had a lovely time. This is a great base for visiting Great Cumbrae, the Isle of Bute and the South West of the Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park
What a gem!
By Allie on 15-Jun-2021We stayed Mon-Fri and had a great time. We had a very warm greeting from the hosts upon arrival which was a great start. Not only is the property beautiful (the inside is a clever fusion of period feel with modern gadgetry), but there was lots nearby to keep us entertained. We spent a lot of time on the tennis courts (rackets and balls all available in the porch to help yourself to), and there is a beautiful walk up the hillside with some beautiful views.

Super Accommodation close to Largs
By Nigel on 09-Aug-2021We stayed for a week in Bell Loft on the Noddsdale Estate just a few mins outside of Largs. The accommodation was first class - warm, comfortable, high standard and so thoughtfully presented. The Noddsdale Estate is just 5 mins drive from the centre of Largs with its ferry to Cumbrae and proximity to Arran, Bute and Glasgow. Lovely walks from the estate and two superb golf courses within a short drive. The owners could not have been more helpful and we even had access to their private tennis court. We highly recommend Bell Loft and as a family who had not been to Scotland before we had a wonderful time and hope to return.
