Kestrel is the perfect stay couples or a small family. Sit outside on the patio with great views or stay warm and cosy in front of the log fire. With its original Byre walls, solid oak floor and tasteful decor, you’ll feel comfortable and cosy.Kestrel is furnished with style in mind ensuring that the decor compliments your Trossachs adventure. From the conservatory doors open onto a patio where you can let the breeze drift in while you enjoy your meal at the dining table. Sink beneath a lush feather duvet and between crisp cotton bed linen in your kingsize bed and enjoy the tranquil soft greens and greys of the bedroom. A wood burning stove creates the prefect homely atmosphere for your country escape.
Kestrel offers you a living room with ample seating, a beautiful conservatory with magnificent views, full kitchen, a bathroom with underfloor heating and a luxurious bedroom.
Kestrel is suitable for one medium / large sized dog or 2 small dogs.
Nestled amidst the Menteith Hills within the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park, Nether Glenny Farm offers an ideal location for hiking, cycling, water sport, including wild swimming, and exploring the many heritage sites that surround the area. Guests can hike into the hills directly from the cottage door !
At Nether Glenny, we offer memorable farm experiences from April until the end of October. Join us for our "Coos and Views" experience on Wednesday or Saturday mornings. Explore the farm, meet the cows, and immerse yourself in the beauty of the countryside and its rich history. Enjoy a warm drink and homemade treats by the fire in The Pantry, after meeting our friendly Highland cows. It's the perfect way to relax and soak in the charm of the farm.
At Nether Glenny, we take pride in preparing homemade meals just for you. Our menu features a handpicked selection of farmhouse favourites, crafted with care and using the finest local ingredients.
Indulge in our signature venison casserole, or perhaps chicken cassoulet or our delicious vegetarian options. And don’t forget our homemade crumble, made with fresh, handpicked fruit straight from our farm.

Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, which made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The location was so tranquil, close to everything we needed, yet peaceful and quiet. Alison and Matt were fantastic, friendly, responsive, and accommodating throughout our stay. Check-in and check-out were seamless, and communication was always quick and helpful. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and we would definitely return. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a getaway and especially if you’re traveling with a dog!
